Used to come here a lot when I lived on south side and it was fine. Sammi and Esperanza and Josefina are great but this end of JAN, new manager is unprofessional and frankly i did not enjoy my haircut AT ALL I went somewhere else to have it fixed. The salon was unclean and there were holes in the wall. I thought my last day was around thanksgiving cause the greasy haired lady ( maybe 50) who I think is the owner, I've seen a couple times came in screaming at all her stylists so everyone could hear if shes not showing up in workout gear Stylists are always changing and I just don't like it anymore. If I do go I only see Esperanza now who barely works at all. Not a place worth visiting anymore

I took my son to get a haircut to Great Clips on Ashland. This Jason who did his hair took him back and cut his hair in less than 5 minutes. He did a horrible job! I didn't realize how bad his haircut was until to we got home. Too late to go back and complain. I had to fix the disaster this man did to my son's hair. Never again will I go there! Beware!

First I would like to start by saying that I never leave bad reviews. But this place is the exception. When I first walked in a woman (Kristina) asked me if I had signed in, when I told her no she then proceeded to sign me in. But really it felt more like an interrogation "what's your name?" "Your cellphone?" which is fine these are basic questions but when she asked me "what's your address?" "Is that a house or an apartment?" WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHERE I LIVE! I'M HERE TO GET MY HAIR CUT! When she was done with her interrogation she asked if I wanted my hair washed, when I said yes she completely ignored me and asked me to sit down. Once I was sitting she asked if I had an idea of how I wanted my hair cut, I pulled out some pictures and she looked at them for maybe at the most 15 seconds each. She then asks me to stand by the window, which I think is weird but still I do as I'm told. SHE CUTS MY HAIR WHILE I'M STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE. WHAT???? Who does that? Am I not worthy enough to sit in a chair? I'm not kidding when I say she cut my hair in maybe 3 minutes! As she was cutting I asked "would you like to see the pictures again?" "No I've been cutting hair for 20 years I know what I'm doing" Rude. As soon as she took off the cape that goes around the neck she proceeds to ask "will that be cash or credit?" Like damn can I look at myself first to see if I even like it?! I really felt like she just wanted to get me out of there as fast as she could. Truly the worst experience of my life. I have never left an establishment so disappointed and confused in my life. Never going back.

The manager does not know what shes doing she needs more training and the owner she’s pathetic. All of the new people came from the northside they do not know how to cut hair like us southsiders like.

Came in to get my undercut shaved. All was well until the hair stylist (Janie is what was printed on the receipt) charged me 15$. I've been to this location once before and a different hairstylist whose name I can't remember (Black girl, bubbly and sweet with braids) but she was PRESENT there at the time had charged me 5$ before. I explained that to Janie. I also said anywhere else (like Supercuts) charges 6$ (hair cuttery charges around 12) but she did not care. That is literally THREE TIMES the amount I was originally charged. She explained to me that she charged me as a haircut because She spent too much time on my hair and it would appear as if she was stealing from the company if she charged me 5. I wasn't sitting on the chair anything longer than 15 minutes. All she did was SHAVE my undercut AND she didn't even ask how I wanted it lined up on the bottom or near my ears. She also combed my hair for some reason. Literally has nothing to do with an undercut. So in essence she literally skipped those two crucial parts and still manages to claim that she took to long on my hair and it is therefore a haircut. My undercut was not ridiculously long at all. Will NOT be going to any Great Clips from here on out.
