Absolutely a very professional establishment. Quiet, clean and warm environment. Will definitely return & highly recommend.

I went here to get my daughters hair braided and it wasn't a pleasant experience for me! My daughters hair was a 3, but the atmosphere is what got me the most. The owner Doug and the barber had bad attitudes. They didn't speak... it was just weird to me, like the way they carried themselves. Too bad we can't go around our own kind sometimes and support them without feeling this way!

I have been coming to this salon nearly two years for my loc care, which is done by Doug. I would rate this salon as a 5star . WHY because I like the salon appearance , it's clean , no horsing around on the floors,no smoking or eating in the presence of the patrons, all of the stylists get along . The patrons are treated with respect . And each stylist have their own specialty of hair. The price is reasonable and the hours of operation are decent. So why nit stop Twisted Roots for your locs and natural.hair care

This is my first loc journey (almost a full month) and I want to say that I've been having an amazing experience here at Twisted Roots. The shop and clean, fast service, and there is no long (or in some cases, extremely long) wait time. Doug is great at his job and he answers all of my questions that I have about my hair, what he is putting in, and why. I also appreciate that he is using natural ingredients while styling my hair, because that is what I intended to do in the future. A huge plus for me is the amount to picture references Doug takes with his locs. Both started locs and people with really long ones. My issues with other shops was because they didn't provide any pictures (or only one) I didn't trust how my hair would look in the end. Doug is great and I will continue to go there from now on. -Deairrah
