I've been getting my highlights with Basia for about a year now and she is fantastic. She is great at listening to what you want done and she does my color perfectly and for a great price. I also just love going to her salon, I feel right at home and always look forward to my next appointment :)

This salon is a hidden gem in the lower level of the Chicago Hilton. So glad I found it!

I''m a client because of JAZMIN. She is a creative and talented stylist who has prepared my hair for work on TV, for special events and has never let me down. Jazmin can create your favorite regular style or recreate a look from a magazine or picture. The location is comfortable and convenient. You are in and out fast and the price is right.

My stylist Jasmine was VERY sweet and skilled. My coarse Ainu hair cannot be tamed but she did an amazing job. I was staying at Essex Inn across the street for my friend's wedding weekend and needed help with bridesmaid hair. Very convenient place to get done up for a wedding in the loop. I would give her handiwork 4.5 stars -- I did the other bridesmaids' hair myself but my own hair is very difficult. What detracts from the very positive results was the very unpleasant experience with owner Basia. When I had booked the appointment I explained I was looking to spend no more than $60 and they said they would take care of me and give me a good deal. But of course when the services were finished she wanted me to pay $80, not including tip. When I wanted to use a Yelp deal to offset that she added a restriction and said that the deal was only valid for Chicago residents and that I could not use it. I was in a rush to stick to the wedding day-of schedule so I just sucked it up. But it was pretty lame to feel misled and ripped off.

They had no idea what to do when it came to color. It was so expensive and my hair looks awful. I would never go here again.
