Would not recommend this shop. Several problems. To begin with the stylist was late for the appointment and asked me to wait an hour for her to get to the shop and set up. I actually ended up waiting for longer than even that. So by the time my hair was actually starting to be twisted it was an hour and a half later than my scheduled appointment. The card and a poster on their window indicate that they accept cards rather than cash, so I came with my card instead of cash only for them to tell me midway through that they no longer accept cards. I had to walk out with unfinished hair to go to the ATM. I have very thick hair which I'm aware of. Most stylists have enough sense to make bigger parts to account for how much hair I have, but she used TINY parts despite me asking her multiple times not to. This led to what usually takes no more than 8 hours becoming a 12 hour ordeal. I asked multiple times for an estimate of how long she would be taking because I had to get up quite early in the morning and she refused to give a straight answer, insisting she was almost done despite the fact that when I felt back there myself she was barely halfway done with my hair. (At this point I had been there for several hours already.) She also ate during the appointment which is understandable, or at least it would be if she hadn't arrived an hour and a half late. Surely that's enough time to eat beforehand? Plus, I don't entirely like the idea of someone who's touching my hair also eating at the same time. It's just gross. The crowning moment was really when she insisted I pay her after about 2 hours of her twisting my hair. This to me is strange since no stylist I have ever been to has requested pay before finishing my head to my desired specifications so insisting on being paid before she was even close to finishing really rubbed me the wrong way. Overall an unpleasant experience and not worth the money I spent. There are several other braiding shops in this general area and you will likely have better luck at one of those.

Very satisfied with hair style.. It was irritating listening to the dad loud coversations on speaker phone for very lonnnnnng periods They dont provide customers with those protective aprons so hair was all over my clothes Then one stylist leave and pick her daughter up and bring her back to the shop .... crying, feeding ,etc.. she then have dual duties I wish they were professional or considerate of these things. Sometimes black owners get waayyyuu to comfy
