I don't know how others who have poorly rated this location ended up with a bad experience, because I've had nothing but great results and have left happy every time. This is the best SmartStyle, or any salon, around in my opinion. I don't go to salons that charge by experience - you're just wasting your money. I had one bad experience at the SmartStyle on 31 by the Greenwood Mall, and came here to get my hair fixed, and have no plans to go anywhere else again. Good, fair prices, experienced staff, very friendly and they listen to you! The manager is super nice, and Tom is amazing. He can take a regular haircut/trim with styled layers and make you look and feel like a million bucks. If you want professionalism, talent, experience, and people who won't push you to get something you don't want/need, go here.

I highly recommend Tom! He's very friendly and he knows what he's doing. He's been doing my hair for about 10 years now! I'm very picky with my hair and he's the only one I trust with it!

The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because she did not mess my hair up. All I asked for was a blunt cut so if she messed my hair up she might as well quit. I'm a stay at home Mom. Perhaps Smart Styles isn't the place to get pampered, but when I'm having someone do something as simple as a trim- I still want to feel special. I didn't. First off, she started off my visit with pointing out how damaged my hair is. I have a baby at home. What do you expect? Thanks for the vote of confidence. She had a friend there. She seemed more interested in chatting with her friend than talking to me. I didn't even catch her name because she wasn't friendly enough to offer it to me. I tried to get in on their conversation, but it was apparent I wasn't invited. I was in and out of her chair within ten minutes. When I told her thank you, she said just kept talking to her friend. I tipped her three dollars, which is the cheapest I've ever tipped someone who has done anything for my hair. Part of a hair dressers job is to speak to their client, make them feel special, give them confidence. I don't think I'll be popping in there for a quick trim again.

Did not receive the correct color i asked/paid for. Afterwards had a "trim" and she cut off 3 inches!! Would not recommend!
