This is the second time I’ve had this experience, so I figured I would write a review explaining why I will not be returning. I am in a profession where I need straight hair, so on occasion I will opt for a sew in. Because I am natural, I do not like my hair braided tightly because it can damage your hair. This is a concept they don’t understand. I asked three times to ask my to have my hair braided tightly, and my stylist even wrote it on my card. However my braids were still entirely too tight. She explained to me that she was going to put a net on, and the net would make it even tighter. When I asked if it was necessary, she said yes. After putting in a third of my hair, she made me switch to a different stylist, which I found to be unprofessional. When I got to the new stylist, she asked my what was wrong and I told her that my braids were too tight. So she cut off part of the net, and she asked my why i didn’t speak up. I told her that I had asked not to have my hair braided so tightly, and my original stylist overheard and replied in the most aggressive tone that, “ I told you that it would get tighter when the net was on.” So there went her tip. If you are someone who cares about the health of your hair, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. It has been a week since I have gotten my braids in and I still have a headache and am developing braid bumps which are associated with hair loss. So I’m getting this out tomorrow. $160 down the tube because they do not allow refunds if you are dissatisfied. I’m giving it 2 stars because the new stylist was very kind and accommodating.

I visited Posh Nail salon in the same location. Nail tech was good.

Ok, so after being left hanging by my long time weave stylist I was left trying to figure out where I could go to get my weave installed. I recently had brain surgery and was still healing and my hair was still growing out from where a significant portion of it had been shaved for the surgery, so I was trying to find something to do with it during the in between time. After lots of research and reading reviews I decided to give TWC a try since it was on my side of town and many of the reviews were good. I went on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised to find the shop open and staff ushered me in BEFORE actual business hours. I had called the day before and spoken with Chediya and so I decided to wait for her to get in so she could do my hair. When she got in, she greeted me warmly, introduced herself, and IMMEDIATELY started working on my hair (never got distracted by her phone or wandered off). She took the time out to consult...evaluated my hair, listened to what look I was trying to achieve, and then gave me her professional advice on what she thought would look best. She was patient and kind when braiding my hair (my head was still just a little tender), and while sewing me in. She started my head a little after 8am- I was done by 10am! The whole time she checked to make sure I was ok, and when she was done and I looked in the mirror, I was blown away!!! She did an AWESOME job- that hair was slayed!!! It was truly one of the best weave installs I've had and I wasted no time telling her she had a faithful customer from there on out. She also gave me several helpful tips regarding care of my own hair. All of the staff was friendly, so much so that my husband who only intended to drop me off and come back to pick me up-wound up staying the entire time as he kicked back and watched a movie and chit chatted with the staff here and there...HE HAS NEVER DONE THAT...but the vibe was just that comfortable! It has been almost 3 weeks...the hair is still holding up beautifully. I would definitely recommend TWC based on my experience...especially CHEDIYA...go check her out! :-) I know I'll be back to her for maintenance and my future weave hair care needs.

First time coming to this location! I loved loved loved It! Atmosphere was refreshing and live. They made me feel comfortable. Also John slayed my hair, I was in shock ! Most definitely recommend and would be coming here for all of my hair needs.

I left my daughter to get her hair done. When I left her the price was $175. I brought the hair from them prior and I had to go up the street for closure. When I picked her up they had charged me $225. I was told it was $50 to curl the hair. They are toooo expensive. To top it off you could see the material clearly in the closure he told me to buy. The stylist afterwards said we should have gotten a different kind. This is the second bad experience and the last since the regular stylist we liked is not there anymore.
