I was worried about finding someone to braid my hair when I moved to Boston a few years ago. Ever since I find Coumba and Simina Hair Braiding, my worries are all gone. They are kind and professional and always do a great job on my hair. I’ve gotten Kinky Twists, Senegalese Twists, and Box Braids and every time I’m very happy with the results! Definitely check them out!

They do a great job! Not too tight.

Never Again! So I chose Simina because of the great reviews on Yelp. I was very clear with Coumba and the person braiding my daughter's hair that I didn't want her hair braided too tight. However, after it was done she complained later that it was tight. During the first week a few braids fell out and although I was tempted to call her my cousin who went to another salon said that also happened to her braids so I thought it was no big deal. However after taking out the braids about a month later I noticed her front edges had broken off. When I called Coumba, she was initially apologetic, however when discussing reparation she became angry and loud. She accused me of being a liar and a trouble maker. I refused to get into a arguing match with her so I ended the call. I was extremely disappointed and angry about her attitude. edges.jpg
