It's always scary going to a new salon for the first time, not knowing exactly what you're going to get but Modesta was awesome! The salon itself is beyond beautiful, like seriously I want them to come decorate my house! Maria and DJ were really friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. DJ did my hair, which I think turned out great. I was really impressed by how DJ really listened to my ideas of what I wanted to do with my hair, looked at all my pinterest pics and made me confident that he understood what I was asking for. I can't wait to go to my next appointment! P.S. the scalp massage before and during the shampoo -freaking amazing!

Maria does amazing work - cut & color. I’ve been going for 4 years have never been disappointed. I just had a cut by DJ and he was great too! Sweet people and hair that gets frequent compliments.

Maria and DJ are fantastic. I've had my hair cut while long and short, and I've never had better looking hair.

Maria never disappoints! She has been my stylist for 8 years. She excels at knowing everything about my hair, keeping detailed records of all colors and cuts we've ever done, taking time to consult with me and determine exactly what I want each time I come in, and executing it beautifully. And on top of all that, she's a fun, warm person who will become a fast friend. Thanks, Maria!

I started going to Maria about a year ago after being unhappy with my hairstylist. She is a miracle worker! She corrected my cut to grow out beautifully and I can even let my hair show its natural curl because of how she styled it. So glad I found her!
