I have been a client here for a long time and the reason I have stayed is because I am valued here; Laura listens to what I am asking for and she does offer excellent, professional suggestions if you would like them. She has an amazing talent with color and highlights. I have found all the stylists to be warm and professional. They take pride in their work and I appreciate that. They cut hair with precision and they have a good selection of professional products, always at a discount. I found that making an appointment can be very helpful, but even calling ahead gives a good idea on when they are less busy. I recommend Celebrity salon. Be sure to sign up for monthly coupons.

I’ve gone here for years for many different services - haircuts, blowouts, highlights, ombré. I’ve never been disappointed. I live in the city now but still get my hair done here. I got ombré once from Celebrity and once from a salon on fifth ave and it honestly came out the same. I loved it both times. They take clients on a walk in basis which is the only drawback I’ve found (some do appointments now though). If you don’t time it right you can be stuck waiting for a while. Overall, they do a thorough job. I mostly go to Ann, but I’ve had Laura and Claudia cut my hair/blow dry before and it’s come out great. They do not push services. I was actually talked out of a Brazilian blowout bc it wasn’t right for my hair when some other place would have just been thrilled to take my money.

Okay. I don't know where to start so I'm say this. Don't go here!!! If you want your hair done properly by a professional and yes for a little more money, but it's worth it, go to Bien nice in Cliffside park and ask for Ritchie! I don't know if it's that they are used to doing a lot of elderly people's hair. But they aren't do anything right. The manager, carol, said she trained everyone there. Well she did a piss poor job because she doesn't even do hair well. Like Ms. Ali there doesn't know how to blow dry hair and doesn't shut up for a second. I don't want to hear about your personal life. She got me so rattled that I couldn't even enjoy anything about the experience before she got started. Hope she stops doing hair. She kept asking the manager for help and opinions. Clearly she was in training and wow should've left right there and then. The one who washes hair, Nancy, shampoos your hair so roughly that that is an unpleasant experience. You aren't supposed to be rough with shampooing your hair! Again I will say BIEN NICE!!! it is a bit further from me but I will definitely have my hair done by Ritchie from here on out! A place where they know what they're doing! And family run. So basically if you want your hair done like a buzz cut or really short then fine go here. Never doing there again! And I'm holding back here!
