I have been a resident of Fleetwood all my life and know the shops along Broad and Grand Street very well. In town, there are about 5 nail salons within a few hundred feet of each other. I have tried all of them and The Beauty Cafe on W. Grand St. is the only one I will go to. Heather keeps a very clean shop and the technicians are extremely professional and very sweet. They take their time to do a good job and I have always gotten a great pedicure and manicure. Heather always has the latest (and wide) selection of nail colors along with spa treatments. She also treated me once with one of her cremes for a bad fungus that quickly healed . I always have great experiences at The Beauty Cafe and I highly recommend this great little place in town for a wonderful experience.

Best nail salon around!! I've been coming to see Heather and her team for 6 years now. They always do an amazing job on my nails, near perfection every single time. The service is great and I would not go anyplace else to have a mani/pedi. They do get pretty busy and have lots of walk-ins, therefore if you need to get your nails done on a specific day/time, then I highly recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment. Every time I come into Beauty Cafe I see customers who have been coming in for years!! Heather has a solid customer base, which includes both men and women and all ages/races. Her team truly does a beautiful job with nails and other services such as massage, waxing, eye lash, etc. I've read some pretty ugly reviews online before about Beauty Cafe and I have to say that you should not believe what's been written. I've NEVER once received poor service from Heather or her team and I always leave satisfied with my services received. I also tip appropriately every time, giving about 20-25%. If you're a poor tipper, then the level of service will likely match your offerings. If you're impatient or expect immediate service, then this may not be the salon for you. Heather runs a great business, therefore she has lots of customers who walk in and schedule appointments. Please be patient and wait your turn. You won't be dissatisfied. Oh! And she's obsessed with having all the latest nail polish brands and colors. There's always plenty to choose from.

One of my best friends purchased a gift certificate for my daughter which was used today. The service was actually good until it was time to pay. My daughter and her best friend were accosted and told they couldn't leave the store UNLESS they paid a mandatory tip! My daughter was already planning on tipping for the service she enjoyed however after being accosted and treated unprofessionally, my daughter proceeded to call me immediately. I spoke to my daughter and then I asked to speak to the manager. Once I began to ask what the issue was... the manager began to yell that the tip was MANDATORY and that the service was rendered therefore the tip MUST also be rendered. I tried to clarify that the issue was not the tip but her lack of profesional behavior and she proceeded to end the conversation by hanging up the telephone. My daughter immediately called me back and I instructed her to leave the store. I would've called 9-1-1 if she wouldn't allow my daughter and her best friend to leave once I instructed the girls to leave. I will be reporting this business and the manager to the Better Business Bureau. I am very disappointed that two young ladies were treated unfairly, unprofessionally and made to feel that they were wrong! I will NOT recommend this business nor dealings with this manager now or EVER!!!!
