I am extremely happy! Amanda is very talented, and I recommend her highly, especially when it comes to a Brazilian blowout (I have long hair). I have lived in Charlotte since 2002 and I usually have my hair done by my stylist in New York or Israel as I had a horrible experience at another salon here and also with a stylist I hired to come to my home. Needless to say, I have not had any other hair services in Charlotte since then, except, for David Ross yesterday. I am VERY IMPRESSED (being a former owner of a medical day spa and a cosmetologist) with the professionalism, knowledge, services, and most important, the RESULTS I received. My experience from the first phone call until I walked out the door a very happy, bouncy (like my hair) customer was well above par. I had Brazilian Blowout and trim. It started with an in-depth consultation (very important) and I was not rushed at any point. I felt understood and valued as a person a client. They use superior products and never tried to push anything on me. The atmosphere is relaxing yet professional, and they are very accommodating. I am so happy that I took a chance on them, WHEW! I will definitely be going back for all of my hair needs, What a relief that I finally have a place in Charlotte to get my hair done. Some people may say that they are “pricey” (to me their prices are fairly competitive with the going rate for comparative salon) however, it is so true that you get exactly what you pay for. To summit up, Amanda did an excellent job on my hair and I trust them enough to freely recommend them without hesitation! 👍

Great products, very friendly service, but pricey (IMO) which is the only reason I couldn't give them a full 5-stars. But you do get what you pay for, and having been to other salons for similar treatments that were running Groupon deals, I will say my experience at David Ross Salon has been much better than the others. So if you're good with their prices, I think you'll find it to be an excellent salon.

Amanda B did a great job with my color. I am a redhead and so many colorists can't get it right. Amanda did and she did it right the first time! I now have a great cut and color and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend Amanda Briska for you color and cut!

I had a horrible experience at another salon and ended up with blue (BLUE!) hair. I called David Ross on the verge of tears and he told me to come into the salon—this was 6 pm on a Friday evening. He stayed until almost 11 pm reversing the damage and was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I am deeply grateful to David and his staff for their help in fixing my hair disaster on such short notice and will be going to them exclusively from now on.
