We moved here from Florida. My husband actually found this salon. He loved it and recommended it to me. I knew it must be good because he is very particular. I have been going here for 6 months and I am thrilled with the service. Liza the owner is experienced and does a great job with color. She always understands exactly what I want and is talented enough to make get me the exact look I desire. Their prices are for a small town but the results experienced are liken to that of a big city salon.

I went to Scissory with such high expectations and left completely dissatisfied! I asked to have my hair colored and for a little bit of pop. The color I received is absolutely beautiful but no where close to what I wanted AT ALL. Liza, the owner and my stylist, can cut extremely well and I appreciate that very much. But did not fully listen to me when I came in. I had originally asked for a dark brown and the color had a tint of burgundy in it in the light. Instead I received two toned red. I did not ask for two tones. I also noticed that she was late for my appointment and had three elderly ladies waiting for her. While she was doing my hair, she had her husband, WHO IS NOT QUALIFIED NOR LICENSED, wash the three ladies' hair. She told me that she would have me out of there by 12:30ish. I did not leave until 1:50 pm and I had go to work in Charlotte and return a vehicle at 2 pm in Lincolnton. Needless to say I was very late. When I went to the register to check out I was very taken back by the price, $105! I understand that pricing is different for each salon but that is ridiculous. There are no price listings on the FB page at all. I paid and left the salon extremely upset about my hair and late for work. I called the business and told them how upset I was about my hair and her husband kept transferring me over to Liza. I told her about how upset I was and she just asked for me to come right back and talk in person - I refused because I was late. I called again because her husband, Joe, is in charge of the finances and I told him that I would prefered to have spoken with him because I just wanted my money back - instead he handed the phone to Liza before I could even finish my sentence. Spoke with Liza again and she asked for me to come in today to speak with her face to face at 9:30 am... she did not arrive until 10 am and she had another client waiting for her. Instead of talking to me she sat me in her chair and automatically just put a towel around my neck as if I was going to let her just color my hair. I told her no, I just wanted my money back. She stopped and told me that she would have to talk to her husband because he is in charge of finances. They had all night yesterday to speak last night and I'm just not happy at all. Poor customer service and I'm just not happy at all. First and last time I will ever go there. (I also cried all day yesterday because I hate my hair so much.)
