Went today and showed them a picture of the braids I wanted. When they were done the braids looked nothing like the picture! They’re bulky and so much hair I can barely put them in a ponytail! I sent her a text to say the braids were nothing like the picture and was told basically if I wanted that style, I needed to pay more! I honestly didn’t mind paying any price for the braids I wanted and I wish they would have just told me that from the beginning!

The first time I went they did a very good job but the second time I went I found different people and they did horrible $ expensive. I Wasted alot money and time. Lesson learned NEVER AGAIN will I ever go back or recommend other people to go.

As a walk-in at African Nubian Queens near North Gate Mall in Durham NC, I got some feed in cornrows/Ghana braids (big and small) and the small ones came loose the next day where they meet with the big braids, now it looks not so good. The price started at 40 then they told me 60 then 80 when I changed from corn rows to feed in with the same amount of braids. I enjoyed some of my experience but do not plan on going back. I do not like being told so many prices for simple corn rows. I forgive them but again I won't go back.

I have had my hair done by them twice. They did my Senegalese twist and was finished in less than 6 hours. I also had medium size box braids that was finished in 3 1/2 hours. They also washed and blow-dried my hair . I have gone back for a touch up and more. I love it
