Great for every one 13+. Prices are good and the aesthetic is very casual but fancy at the same time. The people there are very kind and you can have great conversations with the staff.

I have been here two times and honestly my first time was a better experience than this one. I went today (March 1) at a scheduled time only to find out that my stylist (Taylor) had VERY little time to do what I originally asked her to do. First off, she was rushing and when someone rushes their job they end up doing it so sloppy and bad! And that’s exactly what happened. My hair looked bad. I was very unhappy and when I told her that the color looked off she hits me with the “your hair is black” like duh!!! And that’s exactly why I came to you because your whole Instagram shows good work done with blonde hair. She even had classes teaching people how to do balayage or whatever. My hair would probably have looked better if I colored it and I’m not even licensed and I don’t know anything about color!!! I ended up leaving the salon with wet ugly hair. I am very upset and I expect to get a refund or my hair fixed with no charge because this is unacceptable. I will be contacting the salon.

Nisreen was fantastic - a real pro. My son and I were very happy with our haircuts. They also have a nice place my other kids could wait while we were getting our haircuts. Excellent!!!

Everyone I've interacted with at The Cottage Salon has been extremely warm and friendly. I had some bad luck with other salons and needed a stylist to do natural highlights, and needed them ASAP! The next available stylist was Maria, and I am so thankful I was first scheduled with her. I couldn't imagine my hair ever looking as good as it does after a visit to The Cottage. Maria is incredibly talented.

I have had two awful appointments here. The first time I went in I scheduled for highlights and a cut. My highlights came out with a coppery tone and so we had to go back and wash my hair with a toning shampoo. It helped but did not completely get rid of the copper tone. After everything my stylist said she did not have time to dry my hair again or give me the cut I had scheduled. I left with wet hair and paid full price for this service. I was offered no apology etc. I had hoped it was a one time fluke and scheduled an appointment with another stylist several months later for balayage. The day of my appointment my stylist took me back to begin and when I explained to her my vision she told me she did not have time for a full balayage and only had time to do a partial. Not my fault as I had requested a full balayage when making my appointment. My stylist told me she could do a partial now and I could come back and have the rest done another time. When I asked if I would only be charged for a full balayge if I decided to do that, she said no I would have to pay for 2 partial balayage appointments. That did not make since financially at all. A better idea would have been to just reschedule for another time for 1 full balayage. I went to the front and attempted to reschedule and they found another time slot with a different stylist and blocked off the exact same amount of time they blocked off for the appointment I was currently at. My stylist told me it was ok because the stylist they were booking me with was much faster. Needless to say I felt like my stylist was just not in the mood to do what I was asking for as I was her last appointment for the day. I told them to forget. Super disappointing bc I had high hopes for this place. I will never go back.
