This place is horrible! I showed them the style that I wanted and they refused to do it. They claim it's takes too much time. Faux locs take too much time? Ok, fine. I showed them a picture of an alternate style (micros) and she quoted me a price, 180. Fine. The girl braiding my hair wasn't giving me the style I wanted and I showed her the picture AGAIN. She said, oh that's more work it's going to be 200. That's NOT what you quoted me when I showed you the picture the first time. These women are lazy, don't want to do the work that they are getting paid to do, jake up the price on you, eat while doing your hair, stop multiple times, and take multiple personal phone calls while doing your hair. Unprofessional and crooks. Plus their work is subpar! I will never give them my money again, which by the way they ask for the full amount 2 minutes into doing your hair. Wish I could give them a -20

I absolutely love Beneys. I moved here in 2015 & have been coming here since. They ALWAYS squeeze me in & welcome me in with warm open arms. They do all of my sew-ins & crotchets & for a reasonable price! Definitely recommend Beneys to anyone who wants their hair done professionally.

This is the worst place to go. I went in on Saturday at 7:45 and got box braids. They didn’t start on my hair until 8:45(I had an appointment at 8). There were 2 people that came in about 45 min after me for box braids and got finished way before me. To top it all off, they put the SLOWEST person on my hair. Her name is Grace. She is the slowest person and moves like she doesn’t have a purpose in life. I didn’t leave that shop until about 4:30. Someone had to come help her finish my head because I would’ve been there all night. I complained because I shouldn’t have to watch other people get done before me when they came in after me. I was the SECOND person in the shop. They focus so much on talking to each other they get distracted and do terrible work. She kept getting mad because I told her I had something to do and she was still moving slow. Grace doesn’t need to work in this environment. I’ve been coming to this shop since I was a freshman in college. I will NEVER go again. I do NOT recommend this hair salon!!!!
