Scheduled an appointment for my 11 year old daughter. After confirming my appointment through email 2 days prior to our appointment date, I received a text the day of the appointment letting me know that if we would like to come in early she would be available. I received another text following the first asking me to again confirm my appointment. 10 minutes later my appointment was cancelled! How unprofessional! I was working that day and not able to respond quickly, but regardless I had already confirmed that I would be there. I call to find out if we could still come in and she says yes, she would be there. My daughter's hair is very thick and curly and just wanted her to make it more manageable. Well I ended up paying $105 for a trim, blow dry and some trial size products. She didn't even style her hair. I had to flat iron and style it when we returned home. She was very polite but I did not feel as if the services we received were anywhere close to $105 worth. Very disappointed!

I love my natural hair and Krika did a beautiful job on my BIG CHOP! I look forward to going back and getting more natural styles as my hair grows! A must salon for natural hair and so relaxing.

Its hard trying to find someone who is knowledgeable about natural hair as well as able to educate you on managing it. So often we run into salons that are weave queens, and dread kings, Yet they say there a natural salon. Not to knock there BI but I appreciate experience, I appreciate facts/education material, I appreciate someone who wants to get to know my hair as well as me, and that's how I felt at Sophia Sunflower because this is what she provided. It was a discussion first and foremost since not every natural female has the same type of hair, and that was where her expertise shined. My hair is fine yet soft, three different curl patterns and has no problem growing, HOWEVER the least little thing I do or don't do its like starting all over again and this is how leaking up with a knowledgeable Salon can help you achieve healthy, growing, manageable hair. Highly recommended

If you have natural hair or want to go natural, I highly recommend Sophie Sunflower salon, especially the My Honey Child products. She helped me transition to natural hair 10 years ago. She was my hair care specialist for many years until I left the area. I still go back from time to time because I love the experience. You never have long waits and she puts the health of your hair first. Plus she's just a great person!

I am currently in the transition stage. I have not done a big chop...just a little at a time. Sofia Sunflower products are great and Krika is very knowledgeable about natural hair. I value her advice and services.
