If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t go to this establishment you will be disappointed. I have gotten my hair done there before, and it was beautiful. I went this past Saturday and the service was horrible and my hair is way too tight. The owner insulted me by asking me was my daughter artistic. And this is not a problem then she asked me if my daughter was artistic is the fact that she did it in front of other clients and her staff. My hair is so tight it feels like every time that I move my head I’m losing my edges. I ended up paying $270 for three heads on a discounted rate for my girls. My daughter that got styled on the “school” side came out better and has lasted longer. I will never go back there again, they are unprofessional and lack in talent! The owner seems to be a highly intelligent compulsive liar. While I was in the shop she mentioned having a mother who is schizophrenic. Unlike the owner I have a bachelors degree in psychology. Watching her behavior, I believe she may be experiencing the on set of schizophrenia and avoiding a proper diagnosis.

Update! I was absolutely in love with this place until recently. Customer service was the absolute worst! And my hair has NEVER come out like this. I am not sure if the reason service has become so horrible is because of the increased clientele but I pray that this agency pulls it together

UPDATE: I will never visit this establishment, again. Deeply dissatisfied with the service that I received. My hair was braided on March 15, 2018 and I had taken then down by March 20,2018 due to damage done to my scalp in the form of hair tearing out, scabs, painful bumps along my hairline etc. I placed a full review plus pictures on my public FB wall. I contacted the salon...and was told that there is a 24 hour window in which the hairstyle can be removed for free. I didn't want them removed for free. I just wanted them removed...promptly. This incident was poorly managed and I hope that they get it together. The owner is attempting to do a good deed in the community, however, my edges were literally snatched oht of my head. If I'd left those braids in my hair any longer...I'd be another edgeless statistic running around Winston Salem looking like an electrocuted chicken. No ma'am! EDIT:
