I have been going here for years. I always leave satisfied

I absolutely love Dramatics. Colleen has had to fix my hair mistakes more than once. She's a miracle worker! I always recommend Dramatics when people are looking for a stylist! Great cuts, awesome color - always very happy!

Colleen has been cutting my hair for over 10 and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I followed her to different salons until she bought dramatics. She knows how I like my hair cut and never has to ask what I want. She is hilarious and always makes the hair cutting experience fun! The other ladies are great too! They all talk to you while you're there and include you in their conversations and it just makes you feel like you are important to them! Their quirky attitudes compliment eachother and the diversity of the clients makes this salon tons of fun to be at! Sometimes I even stick around afterward just to enjoy their company. This is a special place to go, if you haven't been, schedule an appointment, and ask for colleen, she is the greatest! All the girls are great but colleen is something else! Thanks the good times ladies! Keep up the good work!!

The first time I went to Dramatics I was pleased, Barbara did my hair and the highlights looked great, but there were still some dark roots. I went back, because the price was great and I was sure that if I told her I wanted the roots more carefully done she could do it. Not so. This time after the dying was done I pointed out that I could still see some serious darkness. She told me that it would look better after it was dried. I said that might be so, but in two weeks they would be very obvious and I wanted them to match my hair. She consulted with another woman, Ava, who seemed very confused as to why I would want my roots to match my hair. She kept asking, "Why do you want your scalp lighter? Why?" Finally Barbara did the color over, and when she was done my roots were ORANGE. I pointed this out and asked if she could put toner on it. She refused saying that it wouldn't do anything. I have been getting my hair highlighted for ten years, and anytime there has been the slightest hint of oranginess the stylist has put toner on it, WITHOUT having to be asked. She said to come back in and next time she would bleach out the color. I walked out of there with a tab of $92 ($30 more than last time) and ridiculous looking hair that I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix.

My friend and I drove over an hour one way to try out Dramatics Hair Salon. We never get a chance to get pampered and consider ourselves to be very low maintenance. That being considered, we were disgusted and our hands and feet were damaged and mistreated during our time at Dramatics. Professionalism: The "manicurist" (Owner) talked to a friend throughout the manicure and missed steps, only oiling the cuticles on one hand / missing the base coat of nail polish on some of the fingers. The "manicurist" told me I had nubbly little fingers (I'm guessing because my fingernails are shorter). The overall cleanliness was extremely poor throughout the salon. The Manicure: My cuticles were cut completely off. She was extremely rough about it after I told her repeatedly that my cuticles are very sensitive. While she was jamming the metal tool into them, I kept pulling back in pain and she grabbed my hand and said, "Stop pulling back..." Today, my cuticles are tearing back and cracking and hurt VERY badly. The lady also did not cut my fingernails - only used a nail file and left ridges / peaks in the curve of my nails. She didn't have me wash my hands before the nail painting - so a lot of the paint has come off already! The Pedicure: Firstly, the "pedicure station" was in a back store room and the chair was wedged between shelves / examination table and an old exit door covered in dirty plastic. The "Pedicurist" had the wrong tools and had to be stopped by the owner and corrected. The chair was uncomfortable and I had to elevate my leg and hold it there throughout the pedicure. The foot bath water was full of white and gray floaties even before she had me put my feet into it. I purposely didn't cut my toenails ahead of time in hopes to have them cut professionally. The lady looked at them, said they were fine, and didn't cut or file my toenails at all. The "massage" consisted of about 20 - 25 seconds of her swatting the bottoms of my feet and the undersides of my calves with the back of her hand. Yep, that's it. Literally. I showed her a large callus I have on my toe and she proceeded to file it down with a NAIL FILE - this took about 20 minutes and burned. There were no toe separators for when the polish went on. The lady's index fingers were bulging and cracked. They looked like they'd recently been bleeding and she was digging into my cuticles with those fingers. Both of my big toes sting today and look slightly swollen on the sides - I'm afraid I have an infection from the water or her fingers. In conclusion, This was supposed to be a fun day out with my friend and it turned out to be a nightmare. The problems we had should never happen at a professional establishment. It's not like I'd complain about decor or the lady's appearances. These are valid concerns and this salon should NOT be in business. My fingertips and toes HURT so badly. If you have purchased a Groupon Coupon for this store for a Mani-Pedi, CANCEL IT. If you haven't purchased one yet - DON'T.
