Total waste of money because braids fell out of my daughter's hair each time I had them done here (twice). Also it's god-forsaken hot in this place with a few fans blowing hot air on the clients and braiders. As for anyone sitting outside of the fans blowing, you're outta luck. Like someone else mentioned, they don't offer breaks for bathroom or lunch and they ended up taking a long time to finish up on our second visit. I don't recommend this place at all.

I went to this salon to have my hair braided and they stated that it would take 6 hours, so I said yes. I informed them that I had somewhere to be in 8 hours and they said that would be no problem. Of course, it took them longer than 6 hours to braid my hair. In fact, it took them 12 hours!! I informed them of the late hour on numerous occasions. They informed me that they would provide a discount. When my hair was finally complete, 12 hours later, I took a mere $20 off the $150 pricetag. They owner, Fatu, scoffed at me giving $130. She and the other woman proceeded to argue with me and yell at me until I gave another $10. I was going to call the police, but due to the fact it was past midnight, I didn't want to wait (especially not in the salon with two angry women who wouldn't allow me to leave) My opinion, don't give this salon your money. They don't value your time, and they will force you to pay what they believe is fair. There are many other hair braiders who do a nice job in less than 12 hours.

I will never go back to that shop. In the middle of braiding my hair one of the braiders said that they were going to run a quick errand that would only last 15-20 min. She was gone for an entire hour. I kept asking the other braiders could they call her or atlesst finish up for her but the kept shrugging me off like " oh she'll be here" yeah I know she'll eventually com back but the question is WHEN? All the braiders were mean in my opinion not nice at all. The head lady seemed nice and she even called my cell to apologize for the braider leaving me like like that. I was so fed up I was gonna ask for a refund but the don't do refunds and you have give them the cash up front! Also once I've got home I noticed they braided my hair from the root then started giving me the twist I did not ask for that at all! 180$ down the drain. Please whatever you do don't go to the shop.
