I was worried about coming here at first because of past reviews, but I decided to give it a try. Any worry was tossed out when I was taken to a chair right away by Natasha. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She was extremely detail oriented but quick (I completely changed my style and she had me out in under an hour) and had to make sure it was perfect. She used a blow dryer to make sure she got any stray hairs off my neck and clothes and even used a towel with a little powder to wipe the hair from my face, which a stylist has never done for me before. To top it off, I bought some of the product she used in my hair and when I got home I discovered she had put some candy in the bag as well and it just put a smile on my face. I've had nothing but compliments on my new style and overall I'm just very happy with the service here, and intend to go back to Natasha when I need a trim.

This was my first experience at Mastercuts Tuttle Mall. My stylist was the elderly woman with the pink hair (I don't know her name). I told her I wanted a simple trim and side bangs. She proceeded to trim my hair with no prior wash or even spraying with water. Regarding the side bangs, despite me having an expectation in my head of what I wanted, I was surprised she never let me choose from a hairstyle catalogue so I could get a better idea of what I wanted it to look like. In every other hair salon I went to, they always let you page through the style catalogue to show the hairdresser the kind of style you want (or at least close to that). Rather than being in a hair salon, I rather felt like I was going to a friend and have her cut my hair.

It had been over a year since I had last had my haircut. When I did have it cut last year I had an amazing experience with Darian ( I could be murdering the spelling of her name.) I got a designed undercut and was so in love with my haircut then it boosted my confidence a little. Yesterday however, was just all bad. The lady I had pretty much life lectured me the whole time. Ok... I'm a stay at home mom of 3 kids, they come first and my needs get neglected (haircut, clothes etc.) She refused to give me layers because someone "cut the beauty out of the back of my hair". I honestly was just so annoyed and wanted out of there so I just paid and left. It was suppose to be a relaxing hour without the kids.... I will more than likely not be returning.

I am not one to complain about anything. But today i had it. This is my 2nd time going in for a haircut. 1st time was like possibly about a year ago, all cause a lady charged me 18.50 for 2 inches she took off. I asked for all layer and thinned out, i have thick thick hair. She didnt. Okay. Today i asked samed thing, i saw that same lady there and didnt want to go in cause if her. But i assume if shes still there, she must be better. No, i git charged for an inch taken off...A FREAKING INCH. I have gone there for years, and this ladt time just runined it for me. I am so tempted to go back in when the manager is in but i hate being that bitchy guest. But i might cause this "haircut" was total bs. This honestly doesnt deserve not even one star. I am very very dissapointed.

Efficient and friendly staff. A haircut for an adult is $17.
