I had a horrible experience at Z studios at 91st and Yale. The owners do not believe in freedom or individual choice when it comes to health. I have a valid medical exemption regarding masks and they wouldn't honor it. The person who checked me in had to call her manager and they wanted to see my papers. We live in America. This is Tulsa, OK, not California. Under no circumstances should I have to prove my papers to you to get my hair cut. This is against Hippa. This is not a freedom loving business. Clearly this business sides with communism.

I’m not one to ever make a review and I’m truly not a “complain everywhere I go” type of customer or person. But I really feel the need to keep this real with people coming into this salon. The first time I went I got highlights and low lights and a trim. I loved it because my hair looked good, and it cost 125. I went back for that reason. I went yesterday and got my hair lightened, toned, and cut. I was there from 9:45 (which waited 25 minutes) and left at 2:30. I was absolutely shocked at the price when I got rang up. I have NEVER in over 11 years of getting my hair done, paid this much. It was $260!!!!! I was charged for things I had NO idea I was going to be charged for and truly felt totally scammed in which I’ve never felt before. My hair turned out to not even be what I wanted. I went in telling her I was tired of roots and wanted to highlight my roots. I’m a pretty passive person and she ended up not only talking me into keeping roots, but she used color to make my roots DARKER!! No joke. I also got charged for “thick hair” even though she chopped 5 inches off before starting. Again, not what I asked for and now I have a short haircut with highlights and darker roots. Looking back I think she was doing anything she could to make more money (hence the making my roots darker without telling me I was going to be charged). And I’m not exaggerating this, I can show before and after pictures of my hair and anyone would and has agreed that the cost was totally unethical. I don’t recommend this salon, and if you go, please ask what they are going to charge you for so you aren’t blindsided. I’m not even that happy with my hair. I did call and tell the manager I just couldn’t afford this. She refunded me 45 dollars, still costing me over $200

Atmosphere is great! My hair color was super...I loved it. I smiled all the way home (55 mi.). I wish that I could go to Jen all the time. I always felt like I had insulted them as I just cannot afford a 25-30% gratuity on top of everything else.

The stylists are amazing! I will definitely be coming back soon! Such fantastic people!

I think I just found my new hair colorist. Summer does a great job and knows what will work with your hair. It's a pricey place, but I'd rather pay more than be let down again by another crappy stylist. Everyone is super friendly, even the receptionist. They use Wella color and Pureology styling products. After having my hair lightened, it's super soft, so the products must be good. I'll be going back to see Summer in 5 weeks! I can't wait.

I love this hair salon! Have been there twice and had a great experience both the times! Everyone is super-friendly and the place has a very soothing vibe to it! I got my hair styled by Summer on both occasions, she was very pleasant and styled my hair beautifully! I would definitely recommend this place!!!
