Imagine this... 10 years ago you walk into a salon, you are fearful because anyone else who has cut your hair has dropped the ball and you have some serious mistrust in anyone who claims that they can cut curly hair. But you have a personal reference, so you continue on. You are met with a bright ray of sunshine who exudes a love for curls. Immediately you feel at peace. Marie has been this ray of sunshine for me. Over the past decade I have repeatedly put all my trust into this amazing woman who has always left me feeling even more heavenly than when I arrived. She brings my lifeless, frizzy curls back to a defined, bouncy beauty that lasts for months. She has helped educate me and helped me fine tune a daily routine that keeps my hair happy. The amount of product knowledge and understanding of ingredients mixed with her willingness to follow what you want for your curls is unmatched. Time and time again she makes sure I am comfortable with what she is putting in my hair. Finally, her salon, no matter where she is located, is always spotless and beautifully decorated. Marie is the curly hair whisperer!! I came in for a cut and reshaping. Everyone says that they can cut curly hair but Marie really can. I told her that I needed a wash and wear style with easy product use. She did just that!! Very happy with my hair. If you are asking yourself should I try her, the answer is yes!! I will also come back to learn how to make my hair look amazing for those special occasions.

I went to Marie for the first time recently. A very experienced curly stylist, she has the winning combination of technique, artistry, and intuition. She really listened to what I wanted and included me in the process as she cut my hair. She gently made a few style suggestions I had not thought about, and the end result was fabulous! I have short curly hair, and I feel this new style complements my facial features so well—and makes me look 10 years younger! She also introduced me to the use of a handheld hair steamer, which made a big difference in refreshing my curls after the dry cut. Marie is a delightful person, and I'll be making her Hair Studio my go-to place for my curly cuts from now on!

I have not cut my hair in 15 months and desperately needed a lift to get me out of the 2020 doldrums! Marie knows curly hair and the star part technique gave my limp hair new life! I can say enough about the skill and care she puts into the cut, not to mention a please to talk with!!!!
