I love Paramount! They are genuine and talented. Highly recommend going there.

This is an excellent salon. The staff and setting are exceptional. I've been seeing Marissa here for two years. While very young, she is such a professional and very skilled. I always leave feeling relaxed--she has a calm, self-assured presence. If you're looking for an upscale, yet approachable and unassuming salon, try Paramount.

Rowena is skilled, reliable and friendly. They've got nice product, by it's not "pushed". The salon is relaxing and very clean.

I've been seeing Samantha for over 20 years. She is beyond talented and a really good person! I also see the other stylist and they've all proven capable of handling my crazy curls! There is no better salon in Portland, maybe in the world!

Let me start of by saying that my first (and only) visit to the salon was wonderful. Kristi was my stylist and she was incredible. She gave me stunning, subtle, and natural looking highlights. It's no wonder that I wanted to go back later to get a touch up. I've tried several times to book an appointment, however, since my first visit I have ever only gotten a voicemail. I know salons get busy and they can't always answer the phone, but I think a salon with stylist as great as Kristi should invest in a receptionist. I've left messages, only to have them returned days later, letting me know that my requested times were not available. Understandable, but here's the thing: the gal returning my calls never ONCE suggested alternate times or dates. After a few attempts, I went to another salon, which also did a wonderful job. I've wanted to go back to Paramount and I'm about due for another round of highlights. This time I called, giving myself a little leeway to book an appointment a little farther out, and once again I was greeted by voicemail. Once again I left a message, but unfortunately, over a week has gone by and I have not received a call back. I'm not sure what's going on over there. Maybe they don't have a solid receptionist, for all I know they could be closed; maybe they are careless with their customers, but I am losing faith in the business. They do not seem to be very professional. If you manage to get an appointment, enjoy! I’ll be at the salon down the street.
