Akasu is a great spot, I've been going to Gioia for all of my hair needs for many years she really knows how to tame unruly locks and will make you feel like a million bucks! Gioia is so talented, book with her and you won't be disappointed

I can't say anything for the hair styling services here but the Aestethics are wonderful. I have the best service with waxing and facials. Also, they carry a line of high quality natural skincare from France that I love!

Ask for Maura, she's awesome!

I love this place and will definitely go back! My sister was visiting from out of town and we had our hair cut by Tyra and Maura. I added a deep conditioning treatment. It was was just what my dry sun damaged hair needed. The salon is in a lovely old house and street parking was super easy to find. I asked if they recommended any products, but loved that they didn't push us to buy any there.

I've been here for a facial from Rachel and a hair cut from Desereé. Both were excellent. Akasu has a really nice feel to the space. Being in an old house, it's a lot more welcoming than a lot of other salons that have the regular box shape & feel to them. They take pride in the quality of their products, and everyone is very knowledgeable. Really, a great salon for everything.
