I totally love Crystal! She does a great job on my hair, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Tina is exceptional at hair color and styling. I have short, curly, blonde hair, not easy to color or cut, and Tina is perfection at both. I was recommended to On the Fringe by a friend from Bible study and WOW, Tina has had an immeasurable impact on my life ever since. Her gifts and talents in all things hair (and fashion) have transformed how I feel about myself when I look in the mirror. Whether getting dressed up for dinner and the opera, or just chugging along through chores and teaching, I catch a glimpse of myself and get an uplifting and satisfying boost to see someone so beautiful looking back at me. All thanks to Tina! She is also superior at training those that work in her salon. 'Excellence in all they do' must be their motto. Tina is always booked, but responsive to emergencies and understands being in a pinch. She is so generous with her time and expertise. Rarely do you find someone so committed to professional and personal excellence, combined with such a heart for people. This is a wonderful salon and Tina is theeeee best!

I went in a few months ago to lighten my hair, the girl who did it was very nice and I like her; However, I was there for 8 hours and most the time included bleaching my hair. Which bleach shouldn't have been on my hair that long. We had to cut a good 4inch off or more then. I was pretty sad at that. About a month went by and my hair was completely fried I was doing treatments every time before I washed my hair, so I went back into the salon and got another 4inches off by another girl. She tried to tell me my hair wasn't "that bad" but my hair was still in horrible condition after. Not even a month later my hair was still breaking like crazy so I went to a different salon and that woman was shocked at the condition of my hair. We had to take my hair to my chin and still the damage wasn't gone but I wouldn't let her cut more.. then I waited a few weeks and finally couldn't stand the damage anymore cause I can't even straighten my hair. Went into day to this other hair dresser and allowed her to take off ALL the damage. I have a PIXIE cut now. My hair was long when I started this now I have boy hair. The girl refuses to give me a refund. So $400 down the drain plus all the products I've bought to try and save my hair and all the hair cuts I've paid for. The lady at the other salon Utopia that I go to has given me free treatments to try and help my hair cause she felt so bad for my hair. Yes I had liked the outcome of the bleaching until I started styling it and found how ruined my hair was. Now I'm stuck with the shortest hair I've ever had.

One of the staff was very disrespectiful. If you are trying to find a place where you can relax and have your hair done, I recommend avoiding this place. I have been to many salons and this was my worst experience. I am starting to see why they barely had any customers at the salon.

So glad I found this little place. I was able to do a walk in one morning and was so happy with the results. The hairstylist was super nice and friendly, I showed her a picture of what I was thinking and the result was even cuter than I imagined. Quick and reasonably priced too. I've recommended them to a few friends and I'll definitely be back as well! Update: went back for a trim and Ashleigh (just recently started) was awesome, great conversation and great cut! They made a smart move hiring her!
