Have been going w/Jeremy for 5? Years now, and have always been 110% delighted with his cuts.

You know when you go to a new hairstylist and you get a great cut and you're in love until you've been with him/her for about a year and then your hair is kind of flat and listless and the cuts just aren't doing it for you anymore? Well, my experience with Jeremy is the opposite. The longer I go to him, the better my hair looks. He doesn't cut it the same way every time so I always feel like it's lighter, fresher than it was before. His cutting ability is top notch and the man knows color like no one else. Y'all know it's hard to find someone who can color your hair in just the right shade to go with your skin tone. Jeremy has a great eye for color. He's also a hoot. Yeah, he talks a mile a minute. The music's loud and strictly pop. Yeah he's got ADHD (which, btw does NOT affect his ability to cut hair - ever hear of the term hyper-focused? If not, look it up. He's it.) He could cut hair and do five other things at the same time and you'd still walk out of there looking fabulous. He's a kind hearted man who cares about what's happening in the world, loves to talk about it and wants to do great things with his life. He gives discounts to teachers, because he knows it's hard to look fabulous and do it on our salary. I don't know any other small business owner who is willing to say goodbye to cold hard profits because he believes in giving back to people like me. Aside from all of that, just know that his skills in cutting are exemplary and you'll never walk out of there with a bad haircut, color or looking anything short of awesome. If you're a teacher, you won't be broke either.

I have been seeing my $11-per-cut barber for 7 years now. My girlfriend recommended I see JJ for a "change". It was a great spot, great location, I was very impressed. Looking forward to seeing JJ again because the guy knows his stuff and hooked me up proper. Really looking forward to the straight razor shave next time since no-one in Portland does!

JJ is so fabulous! He's fun, and is so knowledgeable. I let him do what he thinks, his expert opinion, I luv his work. I always get so many compliments on my hair. I always recommend Sheer Couture to my girlfriends.
