Not sure why anyone would want to go here. I have been to different hair cuttery and different hair salon and was never charged a long hair fee. My hair was about 2 inches below my shoulder and it was considered long hair. Best part, no one told me of a long hair fee until it was time to pay. Tried talking to the manager and informing that this is not normal and the manager asked me to come back to measure my hair for a refund. The manager even advised this mistake has happened in the past. I would highly recommend this place if you want to pay a long hair fee of $10. Is $10 really worth losing a customer?

I went into the Haircuttery located at The Shops at Borders- 515 Route 73 South, Marlton NJ on Friday 12/3/2016 around 2pm. I had my eyebrows waxed and at the time mentioned to the technician that the wax was hot. She blew on the wax and continued. Then I went to pay. I was told it was $10, which I thought was strange because I am normally charged $8. I asked for a receipt but was told the printer was down so thought nothing of it. I tipped the technician $2 and was on my way. When I got home my eyebrow started to throb. Quickly I realized I had a bad burn which eventually turned into a blood blister. This was awful to have on my eye over the holiday weekend. I called the salon and they stated that this was probably because I have sensitive skin (which I do not and I have been to the salon to get my eyebrows waxed at least 6 to 8 times a year and never had this problem). Since the salon was not helpful I called the corporate office. The corporate office said they saw I went into the salon on Saturday around 4pm. I know for sure I went on Friday at 2 because we had a company holiday party I was getting them done for. In addition I have text messages to a coworker on Friday saying that I was going to get my eyebrows done.I was told told they saw I was charged $8, which I know again for sure I was charged $10 because it is always $8 and I remarked that they raised their prices. Clearly there is some kind of skimming operation going on at this salon and they do not care about their clients. I will never go back again and will be letting my friends know as well. If I could have given a 0 star review I would have.

I get that in the haircut business, space means chairs and chairs means money. But they have the chairs packed in so tight here it is uncomfortable. When the hairdresser next to you has to step around your legs or fall into your lap, the chairs are too close together.
