I have been a loyal customer of this place for over twelve years until now. I have never written a negative review about a service I've received. However, after another bad experience at this place, I feel compelled to write a review. The positives: He does a decent job cutting hair at a cheap price and the interior is generally clean. The negatives? A lot. To be charitable, he's consistently dour if not flat out rude to customers across the board. I've seen him yell at other customers and he's done it to me once or twice over the years. He was rough with my 5 year old when I brought him in (once) years ago. I don't need conversation when I'm getting my haircut, but the only time he ever any with me was to complain bitterly when he could tell I got my hair cut somewhere else . Fun. Yelled at today when I didn't understand what he meant when he simply pointed at me. I told him instead of just pointing, perhaps he could tell me what he wanted, and preferably nicely. He kept yelling. I walked out. Not worth it. Met the prior customer in the parking lot who told me he'd been yelled at by him several times too. Who does this in a service business? So, if you like decent, cheap haircuts, by a guy who plays cheesy Peter Gabriel concert videos on a loop, who will probably yell at you from time to time for the privilege of giving him your money, then this is the place for you.

Used to live right by here and I can tell you there was nothing but bad experiences with this place. If you have any product in your hair or you didn't happen to use shampoo the night before this guy (the owner and head-barber) will start complaining like a child and refuse to do the job he is being paid for. He expects his customers to meet his demands rather the other way around and will snap at you if you ask basic questions about his clippers, scissors or methods pertaining to cutting your hair. His terrible attitude and impatience provide a very bad customer experience. He acts like he is a world-class barber when in reality there are more talented barbers in the area like at Brooklyn Cuts in Hatboro - who actually show the respect that you deserve as a paying customer and show appreciation for the business you are giving them.

Go here for hair cuts. 10min haircut at great price. He knows what he's doing. If you want to talk, bring a friend

After posting my experience and pictures to many forums I was urged by many outraged people to write my review here. I was also urged to persue a full refund but I won't. Upon walking into the salon my stylist clearly had no idea how to do my hair. She had to write down a "formula" on the notecard to mix the bleach. The bleach mixture wasn't strong enough and left an almost black ring around my head while the roots lifted. I told them half of my roots was previously colored by a different stylist and half was virgin hair. They blamed the ring on the previous stylist. I got opinions from other stylists and was told they didn't use a strong enough volume which is why the hair didn't lift on the previous colored hair. The last I had my hair done was back in November. I had a lot of regrowth and my hair was strong enough for the higher volume bleach and developer. At one point when the stylist was blow drying my hair she handed me the blow dryer and told me to blow dry my hair myself while she mixed the color. This had a lot of people outraged when I wrote this and what prompted them to urge me to write a review and demand a full refund. The hair dryer is a stylist tool. It should never be in the hands of a client. I saw the salon has cameras. If they are real and functioning the footage shows this actually happened. I was charged $125 for the work. And I gave her $20 tip which was very undeserving! But that's not the worse part. After I left the salon the stylist called and told me I OWED THEM MORE MONEY. Why couldn't they be straight with me at the salon? My receipt shows $125 and they charged $135. I posted pictures of both the receipt and my bank statement. You don't call a client after they left the salon and tell them the amount is something else. Lots of people said they would take off work to fight with me if I go for a full refund. If not at least I had to write this review. They said they would post it all over social media as well. I am instructed to report to my bank the overcharge of $10. I was told that definitely was not right and I have an attorney who said he would back me up if there are any problems.
