The stylist did a great job and took her time to do exactly what i wanted. I've gone twice and was charged differently each time forthe exact same service so idk what that was about.

Went there one time to dye my hair light brown. Instead of light brown, they did it blonde. It doesn’t look bad but it wasn’t the color I really wanted.

I have finally found a place that cuts my hair perfect every time. I have been going for over a year now. I use to go to the hair cuttery. I usually hate what I end up with because you never know who you are getting. I recommend Kate. A perfect cut every time.

Back in January, I made an appointment for a haircut and highlights. The woman I made the appointment with on the phone was nice. The actual stylist, not so much. She not only told me that the style I wanted wouldn't look right with the highlights (which meant I had no choice but to accept her alternative way), but her whole demeanor made me feel stupid every time I asked a question. It seemed like the whole process was an inconvenience for her. She also neglected to tell me that, as my highlights would fade, they would go from red to bronze (which looks okay, but a heads up would have been nice). In all, my experience was not a good one and I don't think I'll be going back.

I very clearly asked for 12 inches off and showed the stylist where this fell- several inches below my shoulder. She even took a ruler to measure before she cut- this assured me she wouldn’t be taking off too much. I have no hair, she cut it above my shoulder. Measured the hair she cut off (saved for donation) it’s 16 inches. How can you cut off 4 extra inches when you’re measuring with a ruler? It’ll take me a year to grow back those extra 4 inches.in the meantime I look ridiculous. Never looked good with short hair which is why I stressed the spot and amount to cut. Stylist was also clearly annoyed when I fixed my part when she was evening it out. Why cut hair if it’s not in the part how it’s going to be worn? Saw other bad reviews but figured I literally just wanted ends straightened out after it was cut how bad can it be? Embarrassingly awful apparently and I paid for it too 😡
