Customer service will make or break a business... I've had 2 ok haircuts here over the last year or so. My hair is long and plain, so nothing to write home about, but I always enjoyed the mini massage before the cut. I live near by so it's convenient. I'm looking to make a big change (to me) to a shorter length and some color. I want to get it right so I wrote an in-depth email to the salon explaining what I was looking for & asking what stylist would be best to work with for a consultation. After some time I received no response, but it was over the holidays so I was letting it go. Today, 9 days after my initial email, I replied again asking for someone to please respond and give me some feedback. Another 4 hours later I received this pathetic 10 second reply. "I would suggest booking an appointment with a stylist for a consultation. 215-482*-2242" No acknowledgement of the lapse in time prior to responding to me...a client. No information on WHO would be best to speak with based on the info I took the time to provide. You've got to care about the people you're serving. This doesn't seem to be the proper position for whoever is running the info email account. I am appalled by your "couldn't care less about you" attitude. I will not be returning and will share this poor customer service experience with others. I feel bad for your stylists, who've all seemed quite nice.

I have unevenly curly/wavy/straight in the underlayer hair and I've always struggled to find someone who can cut it so it lays nicely. Art + Science never disappoints. I've had my hair cut by several of the staff (whoever is available when I have the time to go) and they have all done a great job. I always leave w a bounce in my step. They do a great job w coloring as well, working with you to give you exactly what you're envisioning.

When I first saw the price for a general haircut, I cringed. However, the service was phenomenal from start to finish. I was offered wine when I arrived, given a head/neck/back massage, and had a warm towel after my shampoo. The place was very clean and the haircut was superb! Will definitely continue to go there for my future haircuts.
