I have tried countless hair salons and studios, but this one by far is the best. I have naturally curly hair that is extremely thick, dry, and unmanageable. I worked with, Karina who is extremely kind and is very passionate about her work. She cut, colored, styled and treated my hair. This was one of the best experiences I ever had with a stylist in my life! I will be a life long customer here!!!! If you are looking for a stylist that knows what they are doing and will transform you, call Karina!!!!!

Karina is wonderful! Not only is she a sweet, lovely person, she's a talented stylist. I've recently returned to Pennsylvania and needed a new stylist. Took a chance based on online reviews and couldn't be happier. I have long curly hair with single process color. She recreated my color and cut my hair in a way no one else ever had. She explained curly hair has to be cut and layered a specific way, which she did, and it is fabulous! And her prices are reasonable. Just thrilled!

Karina was magnificent!!! I came in wanting something bold, a big change. It was my first time with her and she made sure to explain everything she was doing. Karina is extremely talented!!! My hair looks fabulous and I keep getting compliments! I now know she's gonna be my go-to person for whenever I need something done with my hair :) thank you, Kar!

I have been a customer here for over 5 years and would not go anywhere else. Karina, the owner, knows how to cut and shape my thick hair as if it were her own and the style lasts until the next visit. Her shop is vintage Manayunk, beautifully restored to its original design, but up to date with all of the facilities of a modern hair salon. You can always find friends and family members here to welcome clients as though they were members of her extended family. A visit to 5th Avenue Hair Studio is always a treat for a very good price, as well!
