Today is 9/23/18, I got my second cut from Michelle and she is consistent and knew exactly what cut to do this second time as she did the first time. Great conversation And great cut! And I'm particular about my hair. Highly recommended. Btw I read the negative feedback reviews- most are by ppl who's the have not even got their hair cut here, therefore irrelevant.

HORRIBLE SERVICE to black people. I came in an hour ago, I was told it would be a 45 minute wait. I came back, and I am still waiting minutes later. When you ask a question, this ugly white chick whose make up is the WRONG color got smart; you are next. Really, when is NEXT???? I am still waiting. They are HORRIBLE!

I accept that you get what you pay for, that's not the case with the hair Cuttery in the macdade mall. Going here I'm not paying for the best barber in the world, however I am still a paying customer and should feel as such As a location of a huge franchise/chain I would expect a certain level of standards to be applied, and a culture to be upheld. I understand that I can't expect the best haircut here, the kind of cut that's different every time I go(gotten three cuts here). Uneven but blends itself as my hair grows within a few days my hair is kept under a hat at work, so it's not a big deal. The part I don't understand is how a group of Hair Stylists can collectively convey the feeling that they're doing the customers a favor and being inconvenienced. I don't understand how when in a position where a large portion of your salary comes from a tip, you aren't anything other than hospitable. Monday July 30th was the third time I have been dismissed, made to feel unwelcomed, or liked to anout wait times, of 4 times visiting this location. I called ahead to ask about a wait, I was on a tight schedule to get to work, and I made that clear. I was told there was nobody before me so I can put my name down to avoid a wait when I got there. I said I'd be there in 15 min. When I arrived( 15 min later) there were two hair stylists, each with a customer in chair. This makes sense, people walked in to get their hair done before I got there. There was also one lady sitting and waiting. I checked in and was told about 10/15 min. I asked if she was sure because to need to go soon. 20 minutes later the lady who was waiting was taken. I was disappointed but not angry, 5 min prior a third hair stylists had arrived and seemed to be nesrly ready to start. After waiting another 15 min(third stylist had walked out the front door to get food), it had become too late for me to sit for a haircut, I got up to leave. One of the ladies announced that she was almost done with the client she's working with. I asked her how long and was told 15 minutes. I said that's okay, my business is obviously not appreciated. I called 50 min prior to out my name down and was told I'd be next on the list when I got in. She said, "well this lady called ahead too so she was first" I explained I was told I had nobody on the list before me and I need to leave, as I had made it clear when I called ahead. She kind of scoffed and seemed annoyed that I wasn't staying. I expect an occasional bad experience at a place like this, not 3 of 4. After I see the standard of people the hair Cuttery is happy to employ I will not be returning to this location or any other for that matter.
