This place was amazing, especially for being able to walk in. They worked with me to get the perfect cut I wanted and turned out great! Everyone was super friendly (which you dont see much anymore). Hanna was my stylist!

The stylist was suppose to style my naturally curly hair and teach me how to maintain it in the future. She dyed and trimmed it first, as I asked (although I’m scared to see my hair flat-ironed now in case she jacked that up too and made it uneven or something. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised). I don’t know what she did, but it looked absolutely horrible when she was finished. It was so bad, I was actually embarrassed to go outside and practically ran to my car to hurry up and put it in a pony tail. I’m sure the other stylist were even ashamed. She was friendly - on the bright side (usually the staff there including the receptionist, are very cold). But as for professionalism and really knowing what they’re doing... umm no. Don’t take the chance. I won’t be going back there, ever.

I've always had good experiences at Phillip Pelusi, but not this branch. Staff weren't unfriendly, but didn't seem interested in clients. The "walk-in" apt could only be scheduled for 4 days after I walked in. Friends have had fantastic cuts at this location, so it seems to be hit-or-miss. I'm getting my cut fixed elsewhere. I am boring and get the same cut every time, so not sure what happened here.

Keri Ann has been my stylist for several years and has always done a nice job. A year ago, she cut my hair short in preparation for hair loss due to chemo and she is currently helping me through the regrowth phase (went from straight to curly -- I have no idea how to handle curly hair!). Through it all, Keri Ann has been thoughtful, helpful, and matter-of-fact. Her professional approach has meant a tremendous amount to me.

I was a walk in for an eye brow wax. I do not have this done routinely as my eye brows do not grow in thick. I need the "peach fuzz" gone. I was taken to the back of the salon by the stylist, told "I just need you to sign a waiver stating you haven't been to a tanning salon or used accutane recently" I signed the waiver as I haven't done either of those. She waxed my brows, showed me me in the the mirror. They looks good. On my right brow bone, it was very pink and tender. By the end of the day, it was very painful. Turns out a layers of skin were missing. 2 days later, I now have a half inch scab. After doing some online research, I found that a topical for rosacea that I use and eye brow waxing don't mix. With that being said, I called the salon to ask if that could be what happened. Liz answered my call, once I stated my concern, she immediately went on the defense. She said they don't know all products out there that could cause that to happen. I get that, so tanning and accutane do. So, in other words, the salon staff have not educated themselves in what could interact with waxing. I did 10 minutes of research online, and found A LIST of medications and topicals that can cause this to happen. Are these people not educated?? Updated?? Or do they just not care?? Lesson learned that Philip Pelusi stylists are trained on taking money but uneducated in the things that matter.
