Morgan has cut my hair twice. She is amazing, really. She takes her time and does exactly what I ask, so rare. Normally I have to come home and cut something that they missed or even something out, not with her. Really a good and precise cut.

Clean Establishment - This is your typical high volume hair cut place that charges a fair price. On that note, I usually get my hair cut here. I give straight forward instructions in plain English and I get pretty good results. I have had a few haircuts that I wasn't thrilled with over the past 10 years or so, but nothing awful. I check in online to avoid the wait, and take whomever stylist they assign to me. We used to take our boys to Twist, but we paid so much for a hair cut. When I was able to convince my wife to try this place she was pleased with the results and for the past 5+ years we have been very happy with how they cut the boys' hair. You can request a stylist, check in online or give them a call. They run specials in the mail or online to save a few dollars. I have never had a stylist with a bad attitude or who did not greet me with a smile. If you are nice to them, they will treat you with respect. I will be using this establishment as long as I live in the area - Thank You Edinburgh North Great Clips!

The woman who cut my hair has obviously never held a pair of scissors before. I asked for slightly longer than shoulder length with layers. I ended up with uneven layers that are straight lines and completely unblended. The woman also took less than 10 minutes to cut my hair and rushed because she wanted to leave. Her station was disgusting and another hair stylist was smoking a cigarette in the salon. Anyways, I came home in tears and my mom had to cut my hair just so it didn't look like I had a mullet. My hair is now right below my earlobes because I had to do something about the chunky unblended layers. I have an appointment with a professional tomorrow, hopefully it will turn out better than the hack job the lady at "Great" clips did.

TERRIBLE. I only gave it a 1 because my husband and sons cuts were decent. I literally cried at home. This place should say barber shop because that's all they should be doing. I chose the most basic cut a bob with long layers. My Hair is CHOPPED!. UNEVEN, BLUNT, UNBLENDED LAYERS like you can see a straight line on the side of my head!. My 3 year old with scissors could have made this cut more even. Im going to have to get a pixi cut now just to correct this hack job. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIR SPEND THE MONEY TO GO TO A REAL SALON. Dont make my mistake.

I've been taking my 11 yr old son to get his hair cut by Deborah, at Great Clips, since he was 3 years old. My son has several issues, one of which is Sensory Integration Disorder. Deborah is the ONLY stylist whom he will allow to cut his hair, and God bless her, she is so patient and kind with him...and she always does such a fantastic job on his hair! Service has always been great. Only occasionally we'll have a little wait, but that's because we wait for her to be available. The staff have always been friendly, kind and courteous. I've been using the on line check in for a few years now and I have had no issues with it. It works great! I highly recommend this particular location on Carmichael Way in Chesapeake.
