Ulta Beauty

This ULTA is by far the best out of the 3 in the Hampton roads. The people are extremely friendly, professional, and efficient! They process returns like pros. I've never had a person at this location look down their nose at me or act like I'm a pain in the a, or follow me around like I'm going to steal. Everything is extremely clean. Love this place. Please don't start acting like that terrible location at Towne Center.

I had a salon appointment for hair and makeup last night for a formal company Christmas party. My stylist was Garland and he was absolutely wonderful. My hair and makeup looked amazing - he nailed the old Hollywood look I was going for. I will definitely be back.

I was not very familiar with Ulta when I visited this store, so I didn't know how they operate. I'm usually an online shopper, so I was a bit naive, but I didn't expect to be taken advantage of the way that the associate at this location did. It was only my second visit to this store back in August, and I went to make an exchange and buy a brush. The associate told me to enter my social security number to make sure it was me accessing my points, and she said there would be a few more questions. I thought it was strange, but I did it anyways. A couple months later, I got a bill in the mail for an Ulta Mastercard! I called the credit card company and cancelled, but I wanted the manager to know what had happened. I thought the associate deserved a good scolding for what she did. All the manager did was put the blame on me and say that I should have been paying attention to what I was signing because it clearly states that it's for a credit card. I kept telling her to speak to the associate, and she replied the same way. Never offered an apology or asked any investigative questions. Ultimately, the company did nothing about it. I ended up calling all 3 credit reporting agencies so they could investigate and get the account off of my credit history, and I ended up having to pay the credit card company for the balance of the brush, which I swiped my DEBIT CARD to pay for that day. I should have at least had the brush for free, but the company waited until I paid the credit card company for the brush to offer any assistance in regard to the negative hit on my credit card. I had already taken care of that because of their slow response. Awful Awful company!

I have gone here twice, the first time I spent half an hour and was only greeted at the door. The most recent time I spent an hour in the store and was not spoken to or even greeted. I highly doubt I will return.

Got my hair dyed for the first time after doing quite a bit of research on where to go. Carlethia is AMAZING! I had a great experience at the salon and I am in love with my hair! She is great at what she does!!
