I went in on Saturday February 24, 2017 for a shampoo, cut and dry and when I arrived I was told that I was not able to get it for the price of $17.00 due to having natural hair. Per the website nothing indicates that your charger more for natural hair and the young lady whose name I think is Lashelle(with purple hair) was very rude about it. However let me state that Selina who always cuts my hair was awesome and her level of professionalism always goes above and beyond what I expect. I wasn’t upset about having to pay more money I was more upset about the fact that the young lady was rude and she was discussing me with her client making the statement ‘people are a trip, they always want something for nothing, who does she think she is”. Additionally, another woman came in for the young lady with the purple hair to finish a sew in that she started on Friday and the client asked if she needed to check in and out loud in front of everyone the young lady with the purple hair replied to the client stating’ no you don’t need to check in unless you want to pay’. I ask that someone give me a call and have a talk with the young lady because she was very rude and unprofessional. Only because of Selina’s great work and level of professionalism I will return in the future!

My stylist knew exactly how I wanted my hair done and she is very patient and thorough about her work. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist to cut my hair. She was extremely confident and so nice. She carried on great conversations and got me to look at my hair a few times to ensure it was exactly how I wanted it. She is definitely my new hair stylist for good. My hair is extremely thick and was around 3 inches from my shoulders. It's very hard for me to manage, as I'm disabled, but she showed and told me everything to do to my hair inbetween getting it cut. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND her, to everyone. The best part was that it wasn't super expensive like other places at all. I had my 7-year-old daughter with me, and she allowed her to sit next to me the entire time, and even included her in our conversations! Don't get me wrong, she does her work extremely well and doesn't waste time talking while she's just standing there like some other hairdressers I've had in the past. Her name is Selina, and I completely recommend her for any style/type of hair. ***in the pictures, my design looks like that because I have very blonde spots in my hair 😊😊😉💕💖💗💙💜💛💚💙💜💖💕💝💟💞💙💚💛💜💚💜💙💛💜💗💖💕💕💕💕💛💙💚💜💚💛💙💗💟💞💝💖💕💜💙💚💜💙

OmgThis is the worst place ever! They need to Be shutdown! I just moved to Richmond, Va from Atlanta, I was looking for a salon to get comfortable with to get back on my Bi-weekly routine, of this white oak hair cuttery and had the " manager " as a stylist and she recommended the *chemistry treatment* as a good deep condition before my silk press, unbeknownst to me this stylist put a relaxer in my hair unwanted burned my hair and singed my Neck! Lied about the conditioner and my hair hasn't stopped breaking yet her name was QUINTANA and called by just Q, and claimed to be the manager all she managed to do was damaged and destroy 10years of work down the sink with her horrible incomparable ways of living miss trust and as unprofessional as it can get!! Four complaints in not one response resolution nor apologies yet!! # never again! This Q person shouldn't be doing ANYONE'S HAIR NOR UP HOLD A TITLE SHE'S CLEARLY NOT ANYWHERE NEAR MANAGER MATERIAL!! Big mistake hair cuttery white oak shut down this Quintana person before no one living in the east end has hair left to do!!

I have waited a very, very, long time to write this. I went once years ago. Horrible hair cut, horrible service. Waited 30 minutes for some reason when I was 1 of 2 customers there, and 3 folks working. Recently I went back a few times because someone I know from another shop started working here. So recently yeah, it's been amazing, but the person I know only stayed there for about a month before she got fed up with how horribly this place is run. You may really want to go someplace else. The best rebiew of this place is from one of its own employees. Nuff said.
