We have been to this location twice for our youngest son. Granted the first time he was really young and moved a lot, but we weren't happy with the haircut as it was fairly uneven. With him nearly 3 years old, I recently took him back during the week when no one else was there and he was surprising still. This time the haircut was very uneven on both the top and sides. Even the neck trim wasn't straight and at least an inch higher than it needed to be. I asked the stylist 5 to 6 times to shorten the sides and instead of using regular scissors she used thinning shears each time. At that point I gave up and was ready to move on. It was so uneven that his Sunday school teacher who is a part time hair dresser gave him an impromptu hair cut two days later. I hope this was just the luck of the draw as the pigtail and crewcuts concept is awesome and the Libbie location has been wonderful. We won't be back here.

I have to agree with the last few reviews-sadly. I'm surmising that the staff is underpaid as they don't seem excited or even remotely interested in what they are doing. I get that working with kids is not everyone's cup of tea- but I don't get choosing to work with kids and not being good at it. Upon first inspection there things seemed-okay-not great but sufficient. After getting home and combing it-it was not even. My son was not perfecy still but didn't move enough to warrant the uneveness-in my opinion but I am not a hair cutter. I really think this could be an awesome place but everyone except the girl who was behind the desk seemed like it was the worst place ever. I think it's a fun experience for children if you make it fun but I don't think anyone tried to create that experience for you-that's up to you and the good environment aside from the staff. I wouldn't go back or recommend unless they improve. I still gave a tip as you never know what someone may be going through or what's happening behind the scenes.

I used to like this place when it was my daughter going. My twin boys, however, despise getting their haircuts. They are now two. Shortly before their 2nd birthday, I took both of them. One wouldn't allow anyone to touch him, and the other had to be held down some. The hairstylist (a petite woman with dark brown hair) cut his hair. I was 100% clear on how I wanted it cut. My son looked like the blond guy on Dumb and Dumber. It was horrible! I could tell she did as little as possible, was unapologetic, and tried shoving cookies and a lollipop in his mouth. My son has never had a lollipop, and he wouldn't be able to eat those hard animal cookies. He would have choked. The lady was pissed when I took the items from him/her. My daughter got a lollipop and unknowingly gave it to one of my boys in the car. The lollipop came off the stick, and my son luckily had enough sense to spit it out! It was a very scary moment for us. I ended up cutting my boys' hair a couple of months later because I couldn't entertain the idea to take them back. My haircuts (no experience, and just watched YouTube videos) were a million times better than theirs ever were. My boys were still fussy and moved a lot, but I was still able to get the job done. Don't go to this awful place, unless you want to spend $25 for a horrible haircut and have your child choke to death! Trust me, you can do a better job yourself! Anything is better than this place!

I took my 2 and 1/2 son here to get his first haircut. I did the first time haircut package which is adorable keepsake and love the idea of the place with the cars etc. I just dont think their stylists are good. I asked fornmy somnto have boy short hair but still length to it (because his hair was passed his shoulders long) and the stylist asked if I wanted layers and I said sure. Big mistake. It was choppy and uneven in the back. Looked like someone closed their eyes and went at it. I figured it but okay caused he grow out of it and now 2 months later his hair has grown a lot but still looks choppy and uneven in the back. Im going to try the richmond location because my son did do well there just the results were dissappointing.

I was not all too jumpy with the staff, while I have to say my child cried her brain off, I didn't find the barber to be all too inviting. More like lets just get over it, when there is hair all over a 1 year old's face, how do u expect the child to just sit there like its all cool?
