It's hit or miss here. I have only seen one stylist more than once. It's completely different people every time I go, which explains why it's so hit or miss. Even though I've gone here a few years now, the last time I went will probably be my last. All I wanted was a trim. I told the stylist to just cut it straight across with no layers. I showed her how much I wanted off, which was about 2 inches. She had no idea what I was talking about. She combed my hair all to the back and snipped a few times, then showed me about 1/2 an inch of hair and asked if that was enough. I said no I want about 2 inches off. So once again the snipping and another 1/2 inch. Then she gave me the mirror and turned me to look at the back. She hadn't even touched the front. I told her she never even touched the front and it didn't look like it had even been cut. She said to cut it straight across that is how she had to do it, and the front hair didn't reach the back far enough to be cut. I had to tell her to comb my hair down and not pull the front to the back, then cut about 2 inches all the way around. She still didn't get it. At that point I said I was just going to leave and go somewhere else, but another stylist said she would trim my hair for me. She had no problem understanding what I wanted and didn't charge me for the trim. I was more than happy to tip her for her time. The bad part is this was the second time a stylist at this shop couldn't figure out how to do a simple one layer trim. This is why my last time will be my last.

Its inexpensive which is great but you definitely get what you pay for here. Not a bad experience.

Karin sucks at hair. Asked to keep top long, she cuts it short. Plus, it's all lumpy. She sucks at hair. Asked to shave neck, she says I need to do it myself with a razor. So, her tools suck. Plus, it's not shaved evenly. And, her hair dryer is set to max heat burning the scalp while she blows away hair. Now I've got to find another place to get a haircut. I've been going to Grst Cuts for years. This particular hairdresser should be fired immediately. Stay away from Karin.

I came in the place was just opening i was immediately greeted with a freindly face i do believe was the owner she made setting up my appointment easy when i sat with my hair stylist my only negative thought was wow my chair is old..it really could use an upgrade my stylist was polite and knew what i wanted which is rare she did such a good job and had a very lovely smile. She could have tried to ask me how my day is going or how do you like living in seattle something to break the silence however sometimes that's not everyone's strong suit since she did so well i could respect the craft. The owner at the end made me feel even more welcome by offering a coupon for my next visit being a first customer with a card that when read felt like we are important customers so thank you i appreciate you very much.

4 designers sitting around, I went in for a shampoo and brush dry. Quoted me more then the price board said because my hair was long . Maybe this franchise owner wants to know how eager her stylists are to work. They were more interested in the magazines and the Hallmark channel movie then making a tip and bringing revenue for them.
