David Gerard is a stylist there, and he's amazing. It's a comfortable salon in an easy location to get to. Everyone there is very friendly.

Nicole is amazing with both color and cuts. I have been going to her for almost 5 years now and every time I get my hair done people comment on how good it looks and want to know who does it for me. She is also funny and smart. Just a complete joy to be around. LOVE her!

I called and asked to schedule an appointment. I was offered a same day appointment with a stylist who had two openings back to back. The salon does not offer wine or champagne, premium teas or coffees, or at least they didn't to me. The appearance of the staff - is also questionable for a "high end salon". The parts of the Salon itself that I saw were just ok. The high ceilings and large windows give a lot of light but it also does not have that "posh" or "luxe" feel. The salon could use a heavy cleaning. The dressing rooms had bulbs burned out. The salon does not have a very nice ambiance, and it is not laid out well. The traffic flow is poorly thought out; despite its large size, few patrons and few stylists, there are bottlenecks in several places. The fixtures seem dated and old, in addition to the poor placement of the reception desk, no online appointments and a website that hangs on mobile devices! Really! I did not see barbacide, nor did I see where the stylist was getting her tools from, which makes me think they were unclean. My stylist Pauline did not appear competent nor did she make any attempt to be friendly, instructive or even helpful with my hair concerns. Despite asking several questions prior to the service and during the cut. I can barely tell that she cut my hair, which I guess is a good thing, as the alternative would be that she took too much off. However, for a $75 price tag - plus tip, I would expect that I would have gotten a decent shampoo, some opinion on a cut to suit my features, my hair would be perfectly blended, I would have gotten the product reccomendations that I asked for and some styling advice. And a little friendliness wouldn't have hurt. Worse than all of that, she blow dried my hair stick straight which is not at all flattering to my face and then put oil on the ends without asking if I had any allergies which meant I immediately had to go home and wash it

Got my hair done here during a recent visit to Seattle. Cara nailed both the color and cut. Staff is friendly and unintimidating, not at all like you might expect from an elite salon.

Shane is the best! The whole place is first class.
