I had micro braids done and have mix feelings about my experience with Michelle. Upon arrival, I had to wait damn near 90 minuets for Michele to arrive. Once she arrived and began braiding my hair, during mid braid she had another young lady continue braiding so she could attend to a male client. I’m a southern bell at heart but my Chicago hood side was pissed. The young lady took two lunch breaks in between braiding my hair and my braids were not up to par. My natural hair was sticking out of most braids and it took extremely too long. Being that I was fatigued, frustrated and impatient I took the “L”, paid the young lady and left. I was able, however, to find unique ways to wear my braids so that the imperfections aren’t as revealing. If this is the best African braid shop in Milwaukee I’m screwed. I paid way too much for the service I received and was disappointed because of my expectations from reading the reviews online. As I learn in law school, I relay a important caution “Caveat Emport”🤷🏽‍♀️
