Worst expirence of my life. I went here for my birthday to get my long hair relaxed. During my whole expirence dexter hardley acknodelged the fact I was there. The only time he even spoke with me is when I cried cause he kept aggressively combing my hair he told me to stop crying like a baby. At one point during my appointment he left for 20 minutes to go off and chat with someone else leaving my hair in the relaxer for to long. I left the appointment overall decent. 2 weeks later I returned for a touch up, and my hair was 4 inches shorter. I could tell something was wrong. My sister came along with me to get her done as well this time. After another horrible expirence I went home. I knew something was off cause my hair was extremely dry and everytime I would touch it lightly a handful of hair would come out. In about a week after going there my hair was almost completely gone. But it kept getting worse, everyday I would have thinner hair and shorter hair until I could only there was nothing to do with my short damaged hair that wasn’t even a inch long in some parts. I was heart broken and extremely sad but even more embrassed that this was my life now.about 3 weeks after all this happened my mom took me and my sister back to dexters salon to tell him what happened as a result of him touching our hair. He dodged everything we told him and said it was my fault for not taking care of my hair. I could not belive this. Meanwhile I didn’t know what to do. I lost all of the self confidence I had had. For the months after my mother tried treatments to help me because she knew I was always sad because of the expirence. I woke up every morning embrassed to go to school. For months I didn’t want to go out in public. That was 2 years ago and I am more than 20 months natural. I am terrified to let anyone but myself touch my hair and even more terrified to put any heat on my hair.

Mr. Dexter is truly a hidden gemstone in the heart of Milwaukee inner city! He is super friendly to all his dedicated customers, and I'm proud to be one! Finding a wonderful professional hair dresser that you can trust and love is hard to come by. Mr. Dexter is a very skillful hair stylist in the art of cutting long hair with a blade. It is a common practice amongst the Asian cloture, but hard to come by in USA. I've moved to Hawaii yet I happily seek out Mr.Dexter to give my perfect cut whenever I visit my family in Wisconsin.
