I walked in and I didn’t even get a hello or a smile, just a funny look from the receptionist. And I ask if they have any walk-ins available and she looked at me funny and said “is this for you?” Now to note, I’m a girl, but I have short short hair, shorter than most guys! And she said oh we only cut men’s hair this is a barbershop. I’ve never ever had this happen to me at a barber shop before and I’ve been to many. I couldn’t believe how rude she was.

I've been coming here for several years now (even the south location when it was open) and I've generally been quite happy with their service. Only had a couple of not-so-great cuts but those girls usually don't stay around long. Staff are always very friendly and willing to chat if you want. But you don't feel obligated to talk if you don't want to. I've never made a reservation and usually I'm seen within 30-45 mins if it's busy. 5 mins or less if it's not busy.

I have been to every barber shop and even hair salons and found that red deer sucks for getting quality hair cuts until I came here with my to son's ages 5 and 7 not only did my boys leave happy as I did but the hair cuts were done just as I wanted it great service lovely people and just all around a great place to get your hair cut done. So if you are smart which I'm sure you are go here you will love it to. In my opinion this is the NUMBER 1 place for boys/men to get your hair cuts done. Go here and nowhere else.
