Went in today to get a haircut and came out with a masterclass of artwork sitting atop my head. I Had the absolute pleasure of being put into the hands of Jandi, who was super friendly, made amazing suggestions, and took his time to cook. I showed him my reference picture and he took one look and replicated it perfectly while making the necessary adjustments for my hair type. I will 100% be going back next time I need a haircut.

Sunny (the owner) went above and beyond to make things right and ensured I was taken care of quickly. He is professional, kind, and cares about his customers. Rami, my hairstylist, did an absolutely fantastic job. He is an excellent stylist. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about his work. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and the results exceeded my expectations. I’m pleased with how my hair turned out and will definitely be returning to have my hair done by Rami again. I had such an amazing experience at Sunny’s Salon, and especially with Rami. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. It was my first time at the salon, but I had heard great things about Rami and really liked his work—he definitely lived up to the hype. We started with a consultation where I showed him what I was hoping for, and he was open and honest about the process, explaining that we’d need to lift some of the darker areas to achieve the look. I really appreciated that transparency. He listened carefully, gave thoughtful input when needed, and made me feel confident in the plan. The entire experience was just incredible. I also brought my stepdaughter in for a haircut, and she’s pretty shy. Rami and another stylist made such an effort to include her—joking around, making her laugh, and helping her feel comfortable. It meant a lot to see that level of care. What really stood out to me, though, was something I witnessed while I was there. A newer stylist (I believe) was cutting a young girl’s hair—she looked to be around grade 4—and she was opening up about school and struggling with confidence. The way he spoke to her was so kind and genuine. He reassured her, lifted her up, and reminded her of her worth in such a heartfelt way. When she left, she was glowing—not just because of her haircut, but because someone took the time to truly see and encourage her. Then I watched that same stylist with another client, a quiet teenager. Again, he connected so naturally—speaking with warmth, encouragement, and authenticity. You could see the shift as the teen opened up and became more at ease. It was honestly so touching to witness. There is something really special about the people working here. Not only are they incredibly skilled, but they are also genuinely kind, compassionate, and present with their clients. And on top of all that—my hair turned out beautifully. I absolutely love it. The cut was perfect, exactly what I wanted (and he didn’t take off more than I asked for, which is always a win!). I will 100% be back and will continue recommending Sunny’s Salon to everyone I know.

I had an amazing experience with Juno! He did such a beautiful job on my haircut. He really listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly the look I was hoping for. The attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. I absolutely love my new hairstyle and would highly recommend Juno to anyone looking for a Excellent hairstylist.

When I leave Sunny’s salon I am guaranteed to get a compliment from a stranger on my hair. I’ve been a client of Sonnys for over 5 years now, he is without a doubt the best hair dresser I have ever had. Sonny is knowledgeable, skilled, and very precise with his work. Not only is he great at what he does, but he is genuinely a really kind, caring person. And funny!! I moved out of Fort McMurray a few years ago and I drive four hours just to have Sonny do my hair, yeah that’s how good he is!! 🤩 The salon itself is clean, a great atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly! I would also like to add that the hair products at Sonny’s salon are the best prices that I have yet to find! 10/10
