Yes, I agree that after my consultation and treatment there, I noticed a visible difference in my skin! Like G said, there was like a natural glow. The esthetician seems to be a brutally honest type of person, but what she said about my skin and my skin type was very accurate and I could tell she knew what she was talking about. After all, the results on my skin can speak for itself. I also found her very funny and easy to talk to, and that actually helped me open up and relax a lot. Oh! and she does a wonderful job at shaping eyebrows. She was nice enough to include that for free, but I wouldn't even mind paying for it again. I am actually quite surprised at what these other reviews are saying, but I would definitely recommend this beauty centre. The lady is very approachable and feels more like a friend. Prices may be a bit steep, but for an occasional pampering, I feel like its worth it.

I made an appointment last week to have permanent eyeliner done at Pretty Woman. Stella (seems like the owner) required a $20 deposit ( I was wrapped up in discussing the procedure and did not realise that she charged me HST on a deposit!) She said if I changed my mind, I could use that deposit towards another service. I decided not to go through with getting the permanent eyeliner done, and called and asked about getting an upper lip wax instead. Stella hesitated and then said ok, but called me back a few minutes later and said the machine broke. Really?? So I went to the shop and asked for my deposit back, but she refused. I asked her when the machine will be fixed and she said she doesn't know. Lip waxing is a very popular service, and she didnt know her machine was not working till I asked for that service?? Something is very wrong with this business, with a lot of red flags. Stella always answers the phone but never with the business greeting Pretty Woman. She's the only one that minds the shop, and there never seems to be any customers. She said she is not the owner, but I suspect she is.When I went in to talk to her about the eyeliner procedure, she was trying very hard to sell me a $1200 facial package! (to be paid upfront!) Business must be very bad for her to want to keep my 20 bucks. If the simple waxing 'machine' broke, who knows how crappy her permanent eyeliner equipment is. I might have lost $22.40, but I am so glad I decided not to roll the dice with my eyes at this business establishment! Horrible customer relations! And with the apparent lack of business, she probably does not have the skills too. I told her to enjoy lunch on me with the 20 bucks! I will never recommend Pretty Woman to anyone! I would give this no stars but 1 is the minimum rating here.

Funny, I had a whole different experience than Polly... I thought the service was excellent. They gave me a very thorough consultation, knowing what kind of skin treatment I needed and what is not neccessary. I thought the lady was really nice because she didn't push me to purchase anything, but just gave me professional suggestions!! Unlike other places I've been, after the first service, they pressure me to buy other products and services! I had a Diamond Micro-dermabrasion done, and I was quite please of the immediate effects of it! My pores were obviously smaller and there was a natural glow on my face! While she was working on my face, she also helped me shaped my eyebrows for free! The package was kinda expensive.. 10 times for 900 something, but she gave me other free stuff too!! Its a small business but I felt they respected and cared for their customers! The lady working there was pretty funny too! she kept making me laugh when i did my facial! shes sooo nice!!!

The worst beauty salon in BC !! I would say bad customer service , unprofessional , the owner Stella doesn't know anythings about the lastest trend in beauty industry!! I 've been to so many beauty salon, they have better customer service than this place. Come on she is nice ?? may be she knew you are easy about $$ that 's why she is so nice to you!! !!!!!!This place suck !!!!!!!!!!!Im not recommed people to go back there! this place even call her customer cheap by not buying her 100$ somthing of face cream.
