I have been going to Hair by Banks since it opened. I see both Sean and Brittany, but always feel welcomed by every stylist. The space is open and beautiful, the outdoor back patio is the perfect place to chill while waiting for colour to process, and you can enjoy a alcoholic beverage during your service. I always leave HBB extremely satisfied with my hair and the experience!

I have fine blonde hair and have struggled my whole life with hairstylists who leave my hair a mess. Brittney not only has the correct products that don't leave hair damaged but also knows what she is doing. She provides a friendly, honest and professional service. Excellent colourist! I will definitely be a lifelong client, this place is everything that I was looking for and more. Thank you for your dedicated work!

I would love to give this salon 5 stars but unfortunately I can't anymore, even though it was for the last couple years. I've always had a great experience going to the owner Brittany. She's been great but I'm a little upset about my most recent experience from a few days ago. My hair turned out great except for one foil in the front which may have moved or wasn't placed right at the hairline. I have a brown triangle shape left in the front which should be blonde like the rest of that area (pictures attached) So, now if I want to put my hair up, it's extremely visible. I didn't notice the area until I got home at night and reached out to the salon the next day through a text hoping I'd be able to get the little area fixed. Basically in short, my response was that I didn't seem happy with my hair and maybe another salon would make me happier. I honestly didn't expect that response and thought I would have been able to get the one foil fixed since this is a technical issue and I reached out to the salon within 7 days of my visit - as this is stated on the website but instead I'm left to search for another place to fix it now and that's really upsetting.

I got my appointment with Sean 3 weeks ago. I didn't want to cut my hair too much as I like my long hair. He really listens and is very talented and skilled. Also, something I really appreciate: he takes his time. I was impressed. I still get compliments. Thank you. I plan to go back once my hair grows more.
