Good decent haircut, but the staff keep suggesting for a perm

Jul 26, 2018
Went there to get my hair cut and dyed into a black to grey gradient. Very professional service and the female stylist was polite and helpful, getting the exact shade I wanted. Definitely would head back again, I totally recommend this place for a quality style at a decent price.

Good for perms and an Asian haircut.

Avoid at all costs unless you just want a cheap haircut with horrible customer service and little say in what cut you get. When I politely asked for a couple of specific but simple things for my haircut (to make it shorter on one side, didn't ask for anything beyond her skillset), the female hairstylist and another employee were super rude and kept making sarcastic comments about how I should go to an expensive salon instead, and calling me "trouble guy". I had to literally ask for what I wanted 3 times and say please, as she was refusing to accommodate me. The language barrier is another issue as some things were lost in translation (they dont speak English fluently). Tl/dr: AVOID this place unless all you care for are cheap cuts with zero customer service and personal customization for your hair. If you expect a little more, they will be rude and call you names. Go to Aristotelli's on Spadina and Richmond instead. 10 bucks more, but it is worth it as you get treated with respect and dignity and the barber (Larry) takes great care to cut your hair the way you want (as it should be-basic customer service and all).
