Fast and professional. Took two kids (6&3) and they did a great cut, with no fuss. My kids ask to go there and have been doing so since able to sit up. Clean store, friendly and little treats for the kids too.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service at this location. After paying up to $180 for cut, colour, and highlights for years, I was impressed with the caliber of the staff. Kaitlynn was super friendly and accommodating and not afraid to ask a colleague (Krystal) for guidance with a difficult task. I appreciate someone knowing their limits and not taking unnecessary risks at the expense of the client. In the end, Kaitlynn's original recommendation was correct. I've had many compliments on my hair since then. Everyone who I told, was pleasantly surprised the FCHC did such a great job. Granted, this is not a super modern, high-end salon, nor is it meant to be. And yes, walk-ins are welcome which means you might have to wait. They are not just sitting around rejecting clients in case YOU walk in for a cut. If you ALWAYS got in right away, they wouldn't be in business for long. Pop in, put your name on a wait list, and come back later. For highlights and colour, they will take appts simply because of the time needed to complete the job. Finally, there is no such thing as a spotless salon--hair on the floor is part of the business. Even high-end salons deal with this. I was there for 2 hrs and the floor was swept several times. If you want a glamourous location, free coffee/tea/water, go spend $100 on a cut!
