This was such a terrible experience that I felt the owner, the customers, the franchisee, and Walmart should know, and you have to realize it was very bad when I'm commenting on this three months later. On December 21st, 2021, I went to this location in Sarnia with my grandson who is almost two years old to get him a haircut before his Mom came home from the hospital. The first time I came in the early afternoon there was 1 customer in the shop, and three hairdressers. I was told by the blond-haired woman in the picture below that they couldn't take my grandson because they had customers coming. The earliest appointment was three hours later. I was broken-hearted because it would have taken all of but ten minutes. I made the appointment anyway knowing his mother wouldn't be able to take him because she and her new baby would be in the hospital until at least Christmas. Over two hours later I came back to the location and asked them to take my grandson early because none of the girls had customers. Again, the same woman said they were waiting on customers. I said, what customers are you waiting on? I've been in the checkout line for twenty minutes in front of your shop and not a single customer has come or gone. I told her other customers clearly weren't coming so I asked her why she doesn't want us as a customer. She gave us this terrible look and I managed to snap her picture while she was frowning at me. I finally said that's not a problem I'll take my business elsewhere after I took the picture. She started yelling at me that I couldn't take her picture. She even had time to chase me almost right out of the store. My grandson is a mixed-race child, but gorgeous with his Shirley Temple curls. I took him down the street and walked into a higher-end salon. I explained what happened and they were super busy, but they took my grandson and earned a $60 tip. I feel bad for the owner of this SmartStyle location. I feel bad for my grandson. But I don't feel bad for exposing bad customer service. Not one of the other two women stepped in to help either. I know a lot of employers are having a hard time finding employees, but better to have none than to have people like this working for you. Shame on all three of you ladies. A little compassion and customer service can go a long way.

First time getting a hair cut here. Saw Trevor and VERY pleased with my results. He listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job! Very affordable and helped me pick a hair product to improve my splint ends issues. Completely satisfied and will be returning. Highly recommend Trevor.

I would like to thank Trevor from the Sarnia location for recommending Designline honey and aloe hair mask. I love the smell of it and it really helps the fizzies I was have because of hard water in Kitchener. Thank you so much. I will be back for more haircuts. Colleen Lapensee
