I have been going to Alissa for years after she first started working in the Junction. If I have anything bad to say it's that she is so popular that sometimes it's hard to get an appointment! I would rather wait for Alyssa than go anywhere else. I have thick way/curly hair and Alyssa undersands how to cut it so that it will look good after I wash it and do it myself. A lot of stylists can make you look great but her haircuts seem to make my hair grow out beautifully. So worth it!

Alissa is very friendly and professional. Although she specializes in curly hair, she is also a really great straight hair stylist. I have very long and straight hair, and she does an amazing job with layering and texturizing. Overall, I have been extremely happy with my experience at Hairsprung!

Best haircut(s) ever! Alissa really understands curly hair and takes time to talk with clients about what they want.

I've been growing my hair out for about 3.5 years. In that time, I haven't had it cut or treated in any way. It's thick, heavy and fairly curly - falling almost to the top of my buttocks. But it needed help. Over the past couple weeks I'd started noticing split ends and it was getting more tangled over time. My curls were stretched out. The ends felt dry and almost brittle. It didn't look great when I let it down. I knew it was time to get it trimmed, but the idea of cutting my hair, which I am literally and figuratively attached to, was daunting. "What if they cut too much?" While doing research for curly hair specialists, Hair Sprung kept showing up. I was drawn to the reviews of people who had long, curly hair and who left satisfied that they didn't lose too much of their hair. Or their curls. I was fortunate to be able to get an appointment in about a week (rather than the typical 2-3 week wait) due to a cancellation and had my appointment this morning. It was amazing! Alissa spent the first 10 minutes of our appointment to find out what I wanted and what my current hair routine was. Throughout my appointment, she gave me very helpful tips and suggestions on keeping my hair healthy and stressed preventative care vs reactive work. She didn't push any products and let her scissors demonstrate her skill. It's clear to me that she is passionate about curly hair and it shows in her work. I left there with extra bounce in my now improved ringlets and will definitely make Alissa and Hairsprung a regular part of my hair care regimen.

I've been three times now and each experience has been better than the last. Alissa knows what she's talking about and is very willing to work with you and with your hair type. My hair is very thick and a difficult wavy-curly texture, and I've had a lot of terrible hair cuts in my life. Alissa has been wonderful and I'm so happy with my hair these days!
