Dr. Jordan is a brilliant surgeon and Ottawa is fortunate to have him here. He removed a basal cell cancer tumor from beneath the skin of my lower eye lid in August 2021. His office staff were courteous, efficient and pleasant, especially his surgery coordinator, Angela. I've had 3 consultations (one pre-surgery and two follow ups). In each case Dr. Jordan saw me within 5 minutes of the appointed time. The day surgery procedure was performed at the Eye Institute of the Ottawa General Hospital and was thoroughly explained to me beforehand. Very detailed instructions for post operative care (removal of bandage/patch; application of compresses; medication) were provided in carefully prepared documents. Surgery involved removal of a significant portion of my lower left eye lid and the lid was reconstructed using grafts from the two upper lids. Following his instructions thoroughly has resulted in satisfactory healing with a minimum of discomfort and inconvenience. My appearance is such that friends and family are virtually unable to detect that I underwent the surgery. My vision has not been adversely affected. Dr. Jordan is a very focused and busy professional. Don't expect a great deal of small talk from him. However, he certainly delivered on his commitment to my care.

Had bilateral eye surgery last year with Dr. Jordan and the outcome was noticeably asymmetrical. When I told him, he dismissed my concerns, stating that it would be fine after a couple months of healing. It was not. Later, he conceded that it was and provided a touch up procedure. But even after the touch up procedure, there was still a noticeable asymmetry. My right under eye has excess tissue under it, whereas my left side looks totally normal. Dr. Jordan again dismissed my concerns because he “didn’t see it,” until I sent him photos under different lighting. Then, he admitted that it was quite noticeable, but refused to do anything else to fix the poorly done procedures. I also have chemosis on both eyes ever since the procedures. It’s minor, but it can be rather uncomfortable. Dr. Jordan dismissed my concerns about this too because he “didn’t see it.” It’s now been almost a year since the touch up to my right eye - at this point, I think the damage is likely permanent. So basically, **beware** of this surgeon. He might not perform your surgery well either and then he might not believe you when you tell him about complications.

Dr. Jordan is the best of best doctor. He saved my life 4 years ago when I had eye cancer. I’m so grateful I’m still alive today. Doctor Jordan diagnosed the cancer really fast and did the surgery very very successfully of my right eye. Doctor Jordan is super knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He is still tracking my case until this year. Thank you Doctor Jordan and I’m sorry for not writing this review earlier.

I should of realized what kind of sure of service I would get when I booked this appointment almost 6 months before The front desk are cold, curt, and lack of compassion is apparent. Made sure to leave house 40 mins early in a severe rainstorm which I then ended up major traffic jam to get to this appointment. I even called to say I would be a few mins late. Made no difference. Called me and basically said they can’t wait and cancelled appointment when I had spent almost 40 mins in traffic. All things out of my control. They wouldn’t even let me come to possibly squeeze me for quick consultation. A respectable solution would be for them to say come on and we’ll do our best to get you in. It was a 5 min consult on a previous surgery that Dr Jordan had performed . If you call a Drs office and are not received with kindness and respect, hang up and look elsewhere. Save yourself a ALOT of stress!

I was charged $100 for a 10 minute consult. Dr Jordan was quick to dismiss me because of a chronic, albeit common, condition, which I disclosed up front when I booked the appointment consultation. He did not attempt to offer any alternative options/solutions to assist me and could've advised me over the phone that I was not a viable candidate rather than waste my time and take my money.
